Denver Post staff pleas the paper must be saved

Why?

“These heartbreaking instructions [to cut 30 positions by July] raise the question: Does this cut, which follows so many in recent years that our ranks have shriveled from more than 250 to fewer than 100 today, represent the beginning of the end for the Voice of the Rocky Mountain Empire?” the editorial asks.

Is that even a real question?

I don't care. Every time during the last few years I gave it 10 seconds attention I got 2 hours of partisan crap.  And their readers who comment are even worse. Completely 100% out of whack. Democrat writers for Democrat readers.

What do commenter at The Wrap say? They've got to be more interesting than anything in the Denver Post.

* Gee another LIEberal rag is dying. Hope it goes belly up soon. The public lost it's appetite for Lefty Lies and pointless garbage last year. Guess you folks will finally have to find a real job instead of publishing lies every day.

* Every time another liberal journalist loses his job, an angel gets his wings.

* The Post is another heap of liberal waste. Its readers are able to see through the propaganda that is presented as objective news. If it goes away, how badly will the Denver metro area be harmed? Let me answer — not much.

* As usual, the left burns their own house to the ground and begs those they pissed off to help them do it all over again.

* It wouldn't be going under if it weren't a leftist propaganda rag. Good riddance.


* All these liberal rags are dying. What is a bird owner supposed to do?

* who wants to read a biased fake news opinionated tabloid.

* Try printing news instead of liberal bullshit!

* They won't. They'll ride it down in flames and blame everyone else as the last of them are escorted out of the building and the doors are locked behind them. The same behavior you see from HRC. Expect it.

* I remember when the Post refused to list firearms for sale in their want ads. It is the beginning of the end when you piss off the sportsmen in Colorado. Go jump off a cliff with the rest of the liberal tuuurds in the West.

* Liberal newspaper? Fighting Trump tooth and nail? Can’t imagine why I wouldn’t want to subscribe.

And so on. They get no respect. No respect at all.

I know a guy who still reads it.

The other day he told me he still gets cable. He's fiercely anti-Trump and so angry he can't even talk about it. I said, "I know your sources of information. I can give you sources that will provide fuller counter  perspective so that you're not so unhappy."

He goes, "I'm fine with my sources."

I said, "Very well," while I thought really hard so that it projects psychically and smites him across the side of his head like Thor's mjölnir, "keep your precious depression."

He told me he's glad that he won't be alive to see the outcome of all this.

It's an awakening! It's a jolting awake from a bad dream. He wants to keep sleeping. He strongly prefers the bad dream. And his archaic unreliable disaffecting sources show that.
