He died 10:30 tonight. According to Raul Castro. Story at BBC. Actually, it's the story of Castro at BBC, not the story of his death. Nothing there that you don't already know. He died. That's it. That's the whole story.
The entire country is in mourning, weeping openly and choking, "Nuestro padre murió," and sobbing, "¿Qué tardó tanto?"
I made up that last part because there's really nothing anyone can say. He's old. He died.

I don't need someone to burn in hell. I'm also not going to wish for Fidel Castro to rest in peace.
It's my hope whatever remains of his soul will meet the Light that those who've had an NDE describe, and that Light will stand beside what's left of Fidel and allow him to realize and feel all the pain he caused others, through a life review that focuses on one incident and one life at a time. I want him to feel and understand the costs, consequences, pain and joy of what he did with his life and how it impacted others. That would be hell enough for someone with his history, and if that doesn't draw out an "OMG what was I thinking. I'm sorry, I was wrong and didn't understand." then whatever tiny piece of creative light that's left within that soul can gutter out, for all I care. What the Big Light decides to do with that unholy mess is another story.
Thanks for the news, Lem. You beat Drudge!
They're not weeping in Florida. At least he lived long enough to see Trump elected president. Gwen Ifill too. Bless their hearts.
Now that Obama has forgave him of his sins, what else did he need to live for?
The question is, will Obama take another selfie during the state funeral?
His private blood bank couldn't make the leftist dictator live forever?
Poor hollwyood and the hack press. They must be in mourning.
About 50 years late.
Does this mean they can go back to building casinos again?
He is burning in hell with Che.
Good Riddance
I am going to have a Cuba Libre!
See? 2016 is redeeming itself. First Clintons, and now Castro. It's starting out a very good holiday season.
Chip, It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, every where you go...
Let the counterrevolution begin.
