Penn Jillette on the Clintons
We have Hillary Clinton — while you were alive, while you were sexually active, three years ago — saying marriage is just between a man and a woman. ...
And yet many people in [the gay community] are supporting Hillary, and their reason for supporting her is that "she was always in favor of gay rights, but she had to say what she had to to be elected." …
She came out in favor of the pacific trade deal, very strongly in favor of it, and now she’s against it.
And that’s not seen as flip-flopping, it’s not really seen as a revelation or learning something — it’s seen as "she is politically expedient, and we want someone who is politically expedient."
The followers of Hillary Clinton seem to think they have a secret deal with her — where they understand what she really believes, what she’s really going to do — and they are willing to support her as she bends the truth in order to be elected. …
Why do the people who support Hillary think that what she’s saying is to manipulate other people and not to manipulate them? (read the whole thing)

Crooked Hillary
Democrats are traditionally drawn from the shallow end of the gene pool.
It's time to reject the Bush-Clinton family dynasty.
WE did our part.
Come on Dems - what the hell is your problem?
Jillette is an asshole, but he is funny in his live show. No politics, just a biting wit.
Yeah, but when Hillary says she wants to seize privately owned, legally owned guns, I don't expect she'll flip flop on her beliefs.
Ditto when she says she wants to use the force of government to quench the first amendment rights of those who criticize her.
Hate on the presumptive nominee of the Republican party all you want, but voting for a third party candidate, or not voting at all, will introduce a higher level of liberal hell than the one we already suffer under.
Note to Bill Kristol: Your self righteous pushing of Mitt Romney to be a third party candidate is a fool's errand. All Romney has proved is that he is adept at helping Democrats get elected president. And Ben Sasse is an unqualified, loudmouth first term senator.

Squelch?
Right-o, squelch.
Although if the right to speak freely is the burning flame of freedom, then quench is what Hillary will do.
Or if the right to speak freely is the fiery cauldron of steely freedom, then we could also go with slake.
It all depends on your metaphor.
Mitt Romney should go hug Christie.
Tank did this with George Bush the first time up. I believed him when he said he believed in a humble foreign policy, and thought he was fudging when he said he was a "compassionate conservative."
Wrong.
Fooled me.
It is really a lot of fun to watch the Democrats in a death struggle leading to a contested convention. They will be fighting till the last dog dies with hard feelings and vows not to support the nominee.
Every douchebag pundit from Karl Rove to George Will to the Wheelchair guy all predicted that for the Republicans. Instead it is the Democrats. Hillary can't even beat a communist decisively in the primaries.
In the meantime the Republicans will have a slick highly entertaining convention with tons of production values. Think a different big star singing every night from the ones who performed at his casinos. Ring card girls in bikini's holding up each new plank to vote on in the platform. Ben Carson in a dunking tank. Trump girls like Brandi Roderick and Carol Alt in a kissing booth to get campaign contributions. It will the highest rated convention ever just like the debates. American will realize that instead of that dreary Obama droning on every day it will be a party! A sexy party!
Make America Fun Again.
I like the ring card girls idea and you are soooo right about how dreary it's been the last 8 years. Matter of fact, the idea was dancing through my head the other day how drab things have been.
Even Pissy doesn't act like he's having fun. And he's getting even with Whitey (and Blackie), but it's still giving him gray hair.
I guess life's no fun without Reggie Love.

Well, thanks to Jamie Gorelick, the Left's answer to Typhoid Mary, nobody really saw 9/11 coming and that changed foreign policy.
As for "compassionate conservative", he might have defined it better. When Freddie Barnes described it as big government Conservatism, that would have opened some eyes.
I have a simpler explanation. They're simply low information voting personality cultists who have no interest in policy at all and just care that she projects their bitchy attitude for them.
At least the pro-Trump/anti-Trump Republicans can discuss the way policies affect them. The poor stupid Democrats (at least on Hillary's Team) can't even do that.
But hey. At least she likes hot sauce. Or pretends to.

The first time I heard Compassionate Conservativism my first thought was to hold my wallet. Compassion within the context of public policy means vast amounts of spending. When a politician invokes the fallacy of compassion, what they are really saying is that more money needs to be spent.
These alleged anonymous death threats being made by Sanders people is classic Clinton dirty tricks. Clinton operatives are doing these threats. THAT is a story the NYT or WaPo would jump on if it were anyone but Clinton.
Spinelli, it's like gay pastors writing faggot on their cakes and blaming it on others who work in a high priced grocery store.
Meth, This victim mentality is championed by plaintiff's attorneys, year in and out the largest contributor to the Dem party. You see the ads. "It was not your fault you got lung cancer, fell on your ass drunk, etc. It's corporate America's fault." You are a victim of corporate greed they say.
People were the same way about Obama. And I'd go so far as to say that the same people who believe the "what they really think" about their favored candidates also are the ones who believe the "what they really think" about the candidates, and the people, they hate.
But what bugs me the most, isn't believing that the person you hate is lying about "what they really think", because while that's pretty unproductive, unhelpful, and unintelligent, not to mention hateful... What bugs me the most are those people who do, yes, support a candidate BECAUSE they believe they are lying.
So Obama and Hillary were both LYING about gay marriage and their faith and who knows what else, and that MADE them worth voting for?
And Cruz and Walker and, oh, EVERYONE, was lying about what they thought because we know that when Repubs say they go to church and make a few noises in a religious direction they're masking their full blown fundamentalist zealotry and plan to build camps for pregnant women to hold them until they come to term, and will lock up gays, and will suddenly join forces with the Baptists and Catholics and Mormons to institute a by-golly theocracy and... they want poor people to DIE. DIE DID YOU HEAR ME!
We're doomed.
Might as well release the Donald.
