"You just have to stop by this bar. It's called the Stonewall. You have a lot of friends there. Or you will make a lot of friends there." "Here is one of them now. We call him the first hipster."
Are heterosexual women finally backing off their fascination and nodding approval of all things gay on TV? I have this theory that the attraction stems from an empathy with being oppressed by "the patriarchy."
I know I am. In my younger days I was pretty much a fruit fly, as far as tv and movies. Now I can't stand some things like that awful little man on Will and Grace, so I never watched it. On the other hand I adore Nathan Lane in The Birdcage.
I am sick to death of the over-acting of it by the young. It's just an American phase and will one day pass...like in fifty years. I can actually sympathize because it's a transition period, and gay kids, as they grow into adults need to explore how they want to present themselves. Do they want to go through life 'acting the part,' or do they want to just 'be.'

Also, a lot of aids-de-camp there.

I guess that question was directed at Troop because he spends so much time watching the boob tube.
It is infested with gays.
That is why I am more and more restricting my viewing to the Hallmark Channel.
