and feathered boas everywhere, I've looked that way on Cloud.
But now they only block the fun, they rain and snow on everyone.
So many things I could have done but Clouds got in my way.
I've looked at Clouds from both sides now,
from give and take, and still somehow
it's Cloud's intrusions I recall.
I really don't know Cloud at all.

No, I just think that serious discussion is over on the internet. There are people out there who deliberately wish to be contrarian. I've never gotten that.
I think I might have watched some sequel to the movie 300 last night.
I'm not sure, maybe it was one of those kill-everyone video games my teenage nephews like to play.
Whatever it was, it was awful.

Agree. And it's amazing that she wrote that song and The Circle Game at such a young age.
People will relate honestly up to the point of their own unacknowledged pain and then the game playing starts.
Those who deliberately chose to act as a contrarian do so for a reason. Over time, they become close to predictable, with their some of their nastier predilections or smartly judgmental provocations being as pronounced as "tits".
Joni Mitchell is nucking futz. Morgellons. Jaysus. I never understood all the fainting over her songs, either. I suspect it got to critical mass where every "serious" pop song writer had to acknowledge the "great" Joni Mitchell. Personally, as far as quirky girl singers of the seventies are concerned, I will always prefer Rickie Lee Jones.
Also, this fappening thing? The FBI will never ever investigate the Cloud porn of private individuals who have no political pull. Ironically, in order to get the FBI interested in de-hacking your private Cloud porn you must have produced some public big budget monetized porn, with the heart in the right place. IYKWIMAITYD.
How many times must it be said? Don't take photos of your gear, morons. What is the attraction, anyway? Is it disappearing, is it never going to happen again so you better get it on tape and/or photograph? Do you play it back in slow motion? It's not right that some asshat can steal it (off someone else's server) and hold you hostage. Like it's not right that you must avoid dark alleys and deep woods but you do it anyway, right?
