Towards Equality and Understanding

The first black president should have been a conservative.

The first female president should be a conservative.

Likewise, the next fiscally conservative President should be a liberal.

We get the most and fastest results towards equality that way because whole stereotypes are destroyed -- things become a "Nixon goes to China" moment.

Condeleeza Rice 2016! Female, black, conservative and rumored to be gay.

Bases loaded home run.

I don't worship in the Church of Equality. No. More. Liberals.

Yes, but that was in response of Kissinger's dictum, "We are on defense and I want to get the best deal possible".

No.

I'm in favor of straight white guys getting stuff.

My self-interest is just as good as anybody's.

Can't see that it makes a friggin' difference who's in office. It's government by and for lawyers. The electorate has been nullified.

He could have beat Clinton.

The first Hispanic president should be Ted Cruz... I mean, a conservative.

Powell was not/is not a conservative.

How about just trying an actual conservative for a change. The color, sex, party, or preference in operating system is all irrelevant to me. Trying to affect things through optics is like herding cats - it's just too damned unreliable.

Obama is only half-Black, not descended from American Blacks or slaves, nor is he the product of an African American upbringing, so the real opportunity for that historic style point is still there for a conservative.

Despite all the ways I list above in which Obama is inauthentic as the figure he represents, his entire career and success is based and dependent on his being an African American. It's my opinion that his success in school, his books, the small amount of responsibility he was given early on, his election to local, state, and national office, and his election as President are all dependent on his being Black. Without that (which is only half true anyway), he would likely not have achieved much if any of it. Just my opinion, but I can't imagine a 100% White Obama having the same success. He is through and through a poseur. Other than that, I think he's awesome.

I'm not suggesting who to elect based on characteristics -- but rather -- who not to elect because they're too polarizing: liberal black; radical feminist; filthy rich white guy; reconquista Hispanic, etc.

If they want to fix this mess they have to put an straight old white guy in charge.

I know that is racist and sexist and homophobic and allergic and what not but it is true.

You can't run away from reality.

What would have been awesome would have been if Obama for his second term pulled a Clinton on steroids and completely reversed himself and started pushing conservative policy, and just became Rand Paul on policy. I'd love to see how the media would handle that. Would the Tea Party suddenly support him? Don't know, but I think many would.

Great point.

Choom is whiter than the combined Bush and Romney families.

You want a black guy, get Thomas Sowell or Ben Carson.

I think we need a Chinaman prez.

Correct.

What's the point when the one solution that will work is taboo?
