I think this video was supposed to address every black man who fantasized about white blonde women (Kool thing - get it?). Watch the video and listen to the words. Chuck D. sings along with Kim Gordon.
Hear her words:
Hey, Kool Thing, come here, sit down beside me.There's something I go to ask you.I just wanna know, what are you gonna do for me?I mean, are you gonna liberate us girlsFrom male white corporate oppression?

Kim's still wearing mini-skirts at 60? (according to wiki's pic)
Damn..
The music video for "Kool Thing" was the band's first for a major label. The video was directed by Tamra Davis. The video deals with Kim Gordon's fascination with 1960s radicalism (particularly Patty Hearst and the Black Panthers), and features the band wearing glam style clothing. The video was stylized after LL Cool J's "Going Back to Cali" video, down to the black and white camera, and Go-Go style dancers. One of the Go-Go dancers is Amma Walcott. Gordon initially wanted to wear a beret and carry an Uzi, as a self-described "poseur-leftist girl lusting after Black Panthers concept." However, the higher ups at Geffen vetoed the plan.
Wikipedia
The Wikipedia entry for LL Cool J's "Going Back to Cali" song contains no references to the Kool Thing song nor the LL Cool J interview.
If anyone were to reference the interview at the LL Cool J "Going Back to Cali" page... would Wikipedia veto it? sensor it?
Kanye says Obama's troubles flow (no pun intended) from black's lack of wealth connections.
