This may rankle some. Frankly, I understand their dislike and disapproval and I respect it.
However, there's one point that nobody's brought up about the current hostilities that needs consideration. I recall reading a few weeks ago Iran was getting very close to miltary nuclear capability. That stuck with me.
Over the years, Israel has tried manfully to send the mullahs back to the Stone Age. Somehow, they always come back. We can argue how and why, but the fact is they are getting help.
Add to that the fact their acolytes are serious fanatics, to use Helen Mirren's well-turned phrase, and we really are faced with the unthinkable.
So, in light of the current situation, we must ask ourselves one big question, "Do I feel lucky?".

That's the question hanging in the air. And it circles back to touch on the closeness of July 2024 assasination attempt in Butler PA , with an additional note on the way the unusual outcome of the 2020 election paved the way for Trump's 2024 victory. I believe the shooting in Butler firmed up an unshakeable sense of resolve in Trump. The resolve that had been growing in strength during the four years of Biden's reign was firmed up with the shooting, and confirmed with his election. And that resolve, with all the luck and risk that was part of its formation, is now strongly present and evident in the approach and risks he is willing to take with the situation currently unfolding in Iran.
From AI: "Resolve" refers to finding a solution to a problem, making a firm decision, or possessing strong determination.
