If this was the 70s there would be a novelty song about this social phenomenon, like "King Tut" or "Convoy" or "the streak" or "disco duck." Someone should carpe the DM.
Add F*** Walgreens to the list. I'm getting ready to do my happy dance, but am not quite there yet.
Received a prescription for IverM yesterday for preventative protocol through a online appointment with a licensed physician, but was told by our local Wal-G pharmacist (after I'd called them first to check if they'd fill an IverM script and was told yes) that their corporate policy is such that they can't fill one for IverM unless it's for a parasite infection. According to them, their computer put a "hard stop" to the IverM prescription, requiring them to call and confirm the actual diagnosis with the prescribing Dr before they are allowed to follow through with filling that Dr's script. Which means my care is now a matter between the pharmacist and the doctor, not the doctor and patient.
No point in arguing with them as they are order fillers at best, following some anonymous dear leader with no published corporate policy behind them to date that I can find. They did say they could send the script to another pharmacy, but when I called back today with the fax number of the compounding lab I found in NY who'd assured me they'd fill it), the Wal-G pharmacist said they had to first call that pharmacy themselves to verify that before they would fax over what they weren't willing to fill.
Waiting now to hear back from the compounding lab to verify payment and details, trusting the Wal-G pharmacist actually followed through with fax. Good thing I'm not in the throes of an active infection waiting to receive treatment while this horse-sh*t about horse dewormer plays out.

"Let's go Brandon" is number 2 with a bullet.

Funny how off-label scrips are filled all of the time, but if it's an unwoke off-label purpose, the corporate partners of the fascists take a knee.
You are probably on a DOJ list now, MamaM.
Good for you, getting out in front of the problem. Inspiring!
Dude, the Wu Ping Cough is nothing but a collection of symptoms, in the words of one MD, so anything can return a positive, false or otherwise.
Mama, such language.
Biden's so addled I expect him to start chanting that at an upcoming press conference.

IverM is on the way. Out of New York, of all places.
