Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Sure, Mr. Starr. The enemy is without and not within. The Russians spent 1.25 million dollars a month fomenting discord in a campaign that Hillary Clinton spent a billion dollars.

* caused Strzok and Page to exchange thousands of emails denigrating Trump and his supporters
* made Strzok and Page and others devise their backup plan should Trump actually win the election.
* compelled Hillary Clinton campaign to hire Fusion
* forced Fusion to hire Steel
* the Russians hired Nellie Ohr not the DNC.
* forced Steel and DNC to produce a bogus dossier
* impelled FBI to forgo vetting of Steel dossier and made them use it for a warrant to spy.
* made FBI lie to FISA court
* forced FBI to spy on Trump and everyone around him
* made Susan Rice unmask citizens
* forced Obama to disseminate unmasked citizens to media to affect the election in favor of Hillary
* convinced Hillary not to campaign in Wisconsin.
* gave Hillary the idea to use private server and to destroy 33,000 email evidence, the property of the U.S. government not hers
* forced the FBI to rig their Hillary email investigation to overlook her federal crimes.
* Caused them to reword their findings in Hillary email investigation to render it less damaging
* forced the entire Democrat constituency to reject the results of an election that they had properly rigged.
* it was Russians and not the Obama administration that weaponized American government departments, FBI, DOJ, IRS, ATF, even Parks! And others so that they are no longer trusted.
All for 1.25 million dollars a month. What a bargain!
No, Mr. Starr, the enemy to our form of government, to our unique constitution, to our trust in our government, to our system of elections is right here at our side. And no, we are not going to come together. Conversation is not even possible as we see from the likes of late night so-called comedians, from celebrities, from athletes like LeBron James who opens his mouth on politics and pure full strength wrongness pours out. Every sentence particle must be corrected. Every utterance argued to get nowhere. Every slanted question from the likes of Oprah Winfrey must be set right before answering. Even conversation is bogus. Like this one you're having. James is not budging, Winfrey is not budging, and neither are we. You say, "For those who will listen." We stopped listening to you. Your airy-fairy prescription of looking outward for trouble and keeping away from each other's throats is rejected.
Who is Starr even talking to? Who does he imagine he's addressing? He speaks as if we are children fighting in the back seat of a family car telling us we can go to Disneyland if we behave.

If you grew up in the 50s or 60s, you know how weird it is to say that.
Ken Starr didn't say anything particularly insightful, but on the other hand he wasn't hysterically anti-Trump. That was likely enough to warrant that very complimentary Trump tweet.
