Via Drudge: "I don't know that there is one answer," she told the Women in the World Summit in New York when asked why a majority of white women voted for a Republican who had boasted of groping women.
"Certainly misogyny played a role, I mean that just has to be admitted," added the former secretary of state, who was treated to an ecstatic welcome and standing ovation from the crowd.
"I think in this election there was a very real struggle between what is viewed as change that is welcomed and exciting to so many Americans and change which is worrisome and threatening to so many others.
"And layer on the first woman president over that and I think some people, women included, had real problems," she told a New York Times journalist at the ticketed women's empowerment event held each year.
Having dreamt for years of making history as America's first woman president, Clinton admitted the aftermath had been "devastating."

we need to stop misogyny among women, wait what? Or is it that Hillary is being misogynistic to white women. Wouldn't her response be evidence of the latter.
In my book, lying about raping women or to hide a rapist worse than a guy talking about what he enjoys doing with a woman interested in him.
Can this bitch please just die.
She's gross.
How many times did Hillary's private IT guy Bryan Pagliano invoke the 5th?

All her lies... decades of lies and vile deplorable behavior... .tossed with fortune seeking selling influence. Swept under the rug by other leftwing fortune seekers in our corrupt Clintonopolis media.
Miss O'Gyny? Is that who Bubba's dating nowadays?
ampersand always cracks me up.
""Certainly misogyny played a role, I mean that just has to be admitted,""
She's right, but the role it played was fooling her and most others that the charge of misogyny was adequate to distract Americans concerned about other more important things that affect all of us. You know, like stuff a President would work on, the future of the nation, international relations, corruption, and the role of government. How to deal with a few hurty words that melt snowflakes in the heat is not a top question in the job interview, but we appreciate your hard work preparing to answer that one. We just don't care.
Aw man, I was primed to go with a Miss Ahginny joke but & got here first. More's the pity.
The subject is unwilling to honestly assess her own fault and continues to deflect blame.
bagoh20: I completely agree. I would add that her personal corruption, self-righteousness and sense of entitlement to power are what truly brought her down, and that would be true even if she were male. For this reason, in my view, the misogyny--to whatever degree it did or did not exist and to whatever extent it did or did not affect the outcome of the election (I would argue it didn't, much, just my opinion)--is a side point, even irrelevant. Once again, a Clinton fails to clearly look into the mirror and see what's reflected.
There's also a buried premise somewhere that a misogynist would never vote for a female candidate in any given, specific election. I question that premise. Oh, sure, I suppose that there are individual misogynists who wouldn't, but I also think that one can be a misogynist AND still vote for a woman if she better reflects the values and beliefs etc. of an individual. For just ONE example, I think it's entirely possible, likely even, that a diehard misogynist, if he were a liberal, would vote for a liberal woman over a conservative man. Etc. Why people like Clinton can't get that displays a lack of intellectual rigor and a failure of imagination. Yuck. So contemptible.
All that said, I'm sick of talking about Hillary Clinton (yeah, yeah, I know--than why in the hell am I chiming in? ; ) ). Get off the stage already.
Just like Pissy, it's never that their policies are bad or that people can detest them objectively.
There's always an excuse and the excuse lies in identity politics.
The fact educated, successful women voted against her says they prized competence (illegal immigration is down 2/3) over identity.
Ed, all the islamocrat proglodytes are now are nothing but a loose regional coalition of SJW identity/racial special interest groups. The party isn't even a national party anymore.
So... according to Hillary, swing voters hate women. Or, at least enough to turn the election. She can't be referring to conservatives as they would not have voted for her based on differing principles and values. As such, the "misogynists" must be swing voters.
Though she could mean Democrats who voted third party, I guess.
