I had never heard that before, nor even heard of Tom "Verlaine". Shows what I know, eh?
I like the interaction between the guitar lines, the bass and the drums - very nice, very spare, definitely different. The way he ends his phrases is very quirky, too. I like that.
As for like suggestions - other than "I like it" I really don't know of any similar groups. We depend on you, CL, you da man!

The song slinks along. That's what I like about it. I hadn't heard it until Sunday morning.
I sent that link to my brother, the guitarist and luthier (first name Lex) and he was all "So?"
And I was all "How cool is that guitar playing? OMG!"
And he was all "Been listenin' to that since it was new."
And I was all "Well, thanks for sharing, biznatch!"
Then he was all "Figured you were too snobby for that music."
So I went "I am, but it sure is good!"
