Whose That Churl?

Squint your eyes, add a pair of designer eyeglasses, a baseball cap, and maybe a couple of chins and whom do you have?

It's just amazing what Hollywood does to some people.

That is what decades of cocaine, vodka, and Asian hooker consumption looks like. Conspicuous consumption indeed.

It's a good thing his movies aren't filled with heavy loads of gun violence.

@FoxNews: Richard Costello on Quentin Tarantino: “As far as I’m concerned, he has the conscious of Jack the Ripper.” #Greta

I think Fox meant to write conscience.

Confirmation that my take on Pulp Fiction was correct. Everybody told me what a great film it was, some even called it a work of art. Within ten minutes watching I knew it was a piece of nihilism plain and simple. So it shouldn't surprise that Tarantino marches with BLM. Like always finds like.

At the gross level, yes -- Tarantino movies are all agenda-driven. But just as with Leni Riefenstahl, one can always find some technical aspect of the film making to admire. And this is the just the thing with judging art. There is always some objective beauty that defies putting down no matter how reprehensible the artist.

For gratuitous violent storytelling, I'm a Tarantino fan. That's about as far as my fandom goes.
