The "asshole" Trump made this possible. By saying the unsayable, by taking that first "irresponsible" kick at establishment wisdom he made the Cruz kick possible. It takes an asshole! How's that for a winning campaign slogan?
Cruz has pretty much killed his Senate career doing this unless there's a real sea change in the R caucus.Then again, it may be be one of those Sumner-Brooks episodes that really draws the battle lines.If, in fact, they really needed to be drawn at all.

How come many so many assholes have names that begin with "Mc"? The senator puts the Con in McConnell.Someone called McConnell a cuckservative. Sounds like an insult.
Cruz has seen the type of R McConnell is when he beat David Dewhurst for the chance to run for the US Senate.
