question about relaxing firearm restrictions.

I do not know exactly. I can guess as can you. And I can tell by the way you spell that you have zero appreciation for our Constitutional rights that we hold dear over here and close to our hearts and that you hold not at all. I would not even be interested in reading your exegesis on that subject. As foreigner, you spell like one, your opinion is nil, and your opinions together already formed, and from an urban and socialist point of view, make instruction impossible. It is not a sincere question, rather an opening for your exalted views. It's why we speak past each other. I don't much care for guns. I care for your foreign opinion on American guns even less. Here, have a scribble.

Well, DEAR, people carrying guns into a theater would help exactly if they shot the murderer either going into the theatER or coming out of the theateER or if the murderer knew, or could presume, that the theatER was not a gun-free murder-spree zone and decided to just watch the movie or stay home which is great advice for you. Thanks, and have a Very Special Day.

The open eyes added as the last detail to the sheep made me smile.

Also appreciated the application of the cartoon extract-and-morph technique (previously shown here and described with regard to a growing plant pic) applied to the wolf with striking effect in black and white.

Powerful commentary, well done, the visual version of a sound bite.

I'd like to see this make it to Insty.

Carrying a gun to a theater will allow you to put the crazed gun man in the ER rather than giving him no resistance to put you in the ER.

One way it would help would be by scaring you into going instead to a gun free zone where both you and the murderers feel safer. Win/win.

One way of finding the answer to your question would be to ask yourself why do you hope the cops have guns when they get there?

We know that the one who asks how carrying a gun in a theater would help when a theater is being shot up, we know that he knows the answer. So why does he ask? To underline his holier-than-thou status. Also by distancing himself publicly from the dreaded and verboten under any circumstance gun the acolyte in the Liberal church strengthens and solidifies his true believer status, if only in his own mind.

Indeed ricpic. The person asking the question is baiting the answerer to say, "so you can shoot the bad guy"; then the asker will shame the answerer about their bloodlust, profiling people, and being a simpleton to think things are good or bad. Karma would be for the questioner to be in that theater, unarmed, and trying to stand up to the shooter with those same blaming questions.

The unstated presumption is that regular (non-cop) people wouldn't know how to take down the shooter with a gun and this presumption says much more about the person asking the question than it does about anyone else.

I would feel much safer knowing even one person in the theater was legally armed. If some nut like this started shooting, then even a gang member with an illegal gun would be preferable to nobody with one.

Mama M., about that caladium guy I gave feedback about them not doing anything. Then two days later they started so I wrote back and said so.

I've corresponded with the caladium-root vendor and told him his plant roots saved my whole project, it looks so great that I wish I had doubled my order.

That season is winding down so he has a lot extra. He offered to double and get them here in time.

This is a one things that leads to another that leads to another to another to another, mostly me providing feedback beyond the usual Yelp "my roots didn't come up in time" that leads to another taking photos, leads to phone calls to get an order just so that leads to the second hint about visiting Denver that lead to coming over here and seeing for himself the caladiums that I bought from him in Florida.

I never had a vendor pursue one of projects like this.

The world of caladiums must be very involved.
