Rahm Emanuel demands respect

According to mental healthcare workers, Debbie Delgado and Matt Ginsberg-Jaeckle at first he was all, "I would like to speak with you privately about these important concerns." And then he was all, "You will respect me!"

The same story is all over the place.

Rahm Emanuel's office denies, Huffington Post.

"You will respect me!"

Yea, that approach always works.

In private it was a different Rahm. I remember stories from when he was in the House of representatives and in the White House chewing people off with litanies of expletives.

Only Chicago could elect a guy like that. and by that I mean a liberal bastion where he, until recently, ran pretty much unopposed.

Maybe I should have said this in the post. The two activists have had it. They were at their wits end.
The end of their rope.
The end of the line.
The last straw
The coffin was completely lined with nails
At the edge of a cliff
On tenterhooks
The last chapter
No more wiggle room
Ready to go postal
Ready to die

As it were. They told of Emanuel closing five clinics. Of a woman dying because of a clinic closing and her being accosted. Having to travel through dangerous neighborhoods to new clinic. How her boy refuses treatment because everything is bad now. Along with misappropriation of funds, I think. Different articles said slightly different things. Some are more in depth as to her grievances. She delivered a striking litany and sharp comebacks to his responses with stinging rebukes. In the post I didn't do justice to her diatribe.

Now I'm reminded of your post where Jesus asked Who touched me?

Imagine Jesus, after everyone dispersed, turning to his disciples and asking why did you people let that woman touch me?

A totally different vive man.

oh yea... I couldn't recall it last night, where or who it was I heard say those words "you will respect me".

Now I do. strangely early in the morning.

"You're not gonna love me..."

Now is more evidently clear to me... no disrespect... where Drudge's nick name for Rahm comes from (Godfather).

Its by a reputation, and not necessarily endearment.

Reminds we when Anthony Wiener's (wife of Hillary's Huma))
said - "Don't you dare judge me."

LOL - the day we stop judging these creeps who WORK FOR US, is the day our republic dies. Which is soon.

It must take a fleet persona to oppose such a man in Chicago politics. Such a man needs a plan:

I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast
for I intend to go in Rham's way.

Rahm's not much of a politician, at least not in the video posted on Raw Story. He doesn't look threatening, but neither does he look sympathetic nor even particularly interested in that woman's tale of woe. He talks past her and discusses what a wonderful thing he's done by building new playgrounds in her district......I don't judge him for his budget choices, but his responses to that woman were not humane.
