I'm glad to see that kind of hair making a comeback. In last night's rerun of "Mad Men," the one where Betty goes all crappy-mom on Bobby during the school field trip to the farm, they compared and contrasted the school teacher's soft, draping natural look to Betty's trussed up, ice queen look.
Very effective, IMHO. No question which woman I'd prefer to get a hug from. I still remember that kind of stuff from when I was a little kid, vividly, and I'm quite sure I'm not the only one, because biology.
The thing of it is, when it comes to who a little kid would prefer to hug, Bobby has no choice in the matter because Betty is his mother and life ain't fair.
