“I would like to start off by talking about the subject and the subject is secession and, uh, nullification, the breaking up of government, and the good news is it’s gonna happen. It’s happening,” Paul, the father of potential Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul, told a gathering at the libertarian Mises Institute in late January. The event Paul was speaking at was titled “Breaking Away: The Case for Secession.”
Paul said secession would not be legislated by Congress, but would be de facto, predicting “when conditions break down…there’s gonna be an alternative.”

Know what secession is like? It's like this
Well, it's one way to get 57 states.
His eyebrow secession is in full swing.
Aside from that, if it's not Scottish, it's crap.
LOL chip.
The problem for people like Ron Paul is Grover Norquist made it pretty much impossible to say anything new and more outrageous, from the right, after his bathtub remark.
The Beethoven of political rhetoric.
I don't consider Ron Paul to be "from the right".
Ron Paul is from the planet. Which planet? it's a mystery.
I do like his son. Mostly.
As usual, Paul is right. Who really thinks that California will continue to be part of the US after it becomes 50%+ Mexican?
Why should the centrists complain if this happens? The wondrous progressive parts of the country could then become even more diverse and multiculti. You'd thing they'd jump at the opportunity to divest themselves of all the benighted hick reactionaries.
