Where the stakes are low.
Your joy is your sorrow unmasked.
And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears.
And how else can it be?
The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain.
Is not the cup that hold your wine the very cup that was burned in the potter's oven?
And is not the lute that soothes your spirit, the very wood that was hollowed with knives?
When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy.
When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

Dolly is all girl, ain't she?
Well, a lot of it is artificial girl. What difference, at this point, does it make?
She knocks the tune out. Great torch singer.
Love them old fashioned country tunes when the singer breaks down and talks. Pure corn.
And, that's a good thing.
I think Dolly really is as sweet as she comes across. When she hits that high note...bliss.
This her other song that knocks me out:
Coat of Many Colors
Artificial as heck on the outside
Tough and tender heart within.
Dolly does what she does well
More than a survivor.
A strong and lyrical beam of Light.
God damn she was hot in the day. Then she went batshit cosmetic surgery crazy. What a shame.
Oh +1 for the camel toe. :D
"Hee Haw" was a seriously underrated show from the '70's.
Thanks for that, deborah!

If Trooper were awake, he'd have said that already :)
Chick, I saw a cute line-drawing cartoon a long time ago. An elegant couple are watching Hee Haw. She's holding her hand over the phone receiver asking her husband, 'It's Nielsen. What should I say?'
If Trooper were awake, he'd have said that already :)
Cute :)
Provocative :)
Indecorous :)
Sort of like Dolly and her boobs :)
