Run to support fight against breast cancer, I bet. I heard noise outside and most of the noise was over by the time I realized, roused and got the camera. Very cold outside. It warmed up right after this.
Yea, I never really got the run for this or that idea. It seems like it's really about the people running more than it is the cause. If you have a thousand people willing to exhaust themselves for a cause, is just running down the street the best use of that energy. I would prefer people walk through town, the woods, or along the beach and pick up trash. Alternatively, go to cancer patients homes, and cut the grass, and wash their car. Arrange to drive them to doctor appointments or treatments, clean their houses.
If collecting money is the best approach, then going through town door to door for donations would probably get more. I don't usually give to people who come to my door, because usually it's a scam, but if the street is full of volunteers then it's not a scam, so I would feel confident to donate, but yes, by all means ladies dress like that when you do. You guys should be cutting grass. Running in shorts and tube socks is unacceptable work for a man.
When I was a cancer patient, healthy women dressed in almost nothing would have helped immensely, but not by running down the street, but rather by stopping in with beer and ... a movie.

Will our silliness damn or save us? I suspect the efforts of these people will result in fat cat profits for administrators.
Intriguing... they are going in one direction on top and the opposite direction on subsequent pictures. You must have image them.
Not too old to run... btw.
If we held a commenter meet-up, it would look just like that.
In your dreams MH.

So, who won?
The charity administrators are always the big winners.
Margaret Sanger appreciates the work done by her useful idiots.
