Well, since you brought up John Denver, I've never forgotten about how Denver in the early 1970s portrayed his image as a nature lover, protector of Mother Earth, then with the first Arab oil embargo and people were wondering if gasoline would run out, he was caught installing huge, and I mean huge underground gas tanks on his Colorado (high) compound.
Zoƫ Baird's political career was destroyed when the public learned that she had employed illegal servants. Nowadays, you probably can't get elected without doing so.
In the Seventies I listened to this album over and over. This particular song never resonated with me. I just kind of ignored it. It seemed a strange mix of of two different tempos. But a while back it clicked. It really clicked.

This would make a great soundtrack for a shuttle launch... if we still had a shuttle.
A flying balcony.
I like the KLEM AM and FM. Good music is an essential part of every great blog.
Did rhhardin get a new puppy? He mentioned that Victoria had died and that he was looking for a puppy, but his blog has a lot of puppy pictures.

I used to have a blue, down, sleeveless vest, just like the one he's wearing in that photo.
I had a red one. Shit I still do.
I need to clean out my storage locker.
I think the call letters of this station should be changed to FLEM. But that's not right.
Chick and Trooper, it's still a great look!
Noted, ampersand :)
If Sixty was a radio station, what would his call letters be?
