If You Could Tell Your Eleven Year Old Self Two Things......

.....what would they be?

Imagine that you can visit your eleven year old self in a dream and impart two nuggets of wisdom that you acquired in your adult life.  What would they be?

I would tell eleven year old Haz these two things:
Do what's right and everything will be okay in the long run.
Learn to play the piano and stay with it for your remaining years.  It will bring decades of joy and happiness when you reach your adult years.
What two nuggets of wisdom would you give eleven year old you?  And since this is not a place for personal things, who to marry or to not marry, sex related things, and so forth are off limits. .

Telling him or her to never be a Giants fan is okay.

The greatest liberation is not caring what others say about you.

Find out what you love to do and make that a career.

Never be afraid to try.

Never fear what people say about you; most of them are projecting, anyway.

You're an introvert. Own it.

Home school. Do it.

Oh, and drink lots of water. That will help you feel better about life.

Be present where you're at.

That's two sets of two.

You are here to give and receive Light, look for ways to do both.

Is teakwando a Scandinavian form of martial arts?

Learn to make what you imagine real.

Go places and do things.

Of course, this is what I did, too. I've led a charmed life.

If someone tells you to follow your passion, slug him. (They won't, anyway, because you're a boy.)

Read books about Abraham Lincoln.

Only if one cheats and uses uses heavy Teak Wood to make their "Escrima stick."

1. Don't think anyone else gives a damn about you or your goals or objectives. They're too busy living their own lives to really take the time to make your dreams come true. It's all up to you ... be bold ... you only get one tombstone.

2. Kiss the damn girl if you really want to.

Save your money and don't buy foolish stuff.

Ignore the crap that the media and popular culture tries to stuff into your head. Be true to your own principles.

The problem is my 11 y/o self would not have listened. But what I would've told him is, take risks and enjoy life.
