You call that an actor? When he puts on seventy five pounds, shaves his head and plays a beat up old truck driver or even an over the hill Hell's Angel, then he'll be an actor. Till then he's still a pretty boy.

I'm still disappointed by World War Z. It was a lot like the Tom Cruise vehicle, War of the Worlds. The first 15 minutes were great, after that not so much.

(1) Man, today I was sitting in the doctor's waiting room and I had to listen to some old lady prattle on and on about how there's no sense in Robert Redford's latest movie being shown in only two theaters. The man's a genius.

(2) She soon segued into a rant about how her neighborhood shouldn't take up a collection to do holiday luminaries when that money could all go to a charity.

Not that it's about the money, mind you, because it's only $6.00 and that's NOTHING.

For some unexplainable reason, the homeowners association won't respond to her emails.

(3) There's more to the story but you get the idea.

(4) Hey, check it out. In 15 or 20 years some crazy old lady is going to let rip the exact same fusilade of tedious blather in some doctor's waiting room except she'll start off with Brad Pitt.

I know but a young black woman will say "Shut up Angelina enough already."

And the nurse will say "Be nice to your mother."

Gross me out whydontchya.

I saw only a few of those, and even then not all the way through.

I saw one where he's a detective hunting a serial killer and at the end the viewer realizes he's seeing his wife's head in a box.

And Thelma and Louise.

And one where he's the ángel del muerto at a fancy party and he's talking to Anthony Hopkins.

And that's about it.

Pretty much, ampersand. Never been a big fan, but I've seen a few. Spy Game with Robert Redford was pretty good. He was pretty good in Inglorius Basterds, too.

Mostly, I'm with you Deborah and Ampersand. I did see the Benjamin Button movie. None of the rest, however.

I couldn't bear to watch the Button movie. And although it was stange, Joe Black was okay. Anthony Hopkins was great as usual.

Me too, because I just wanted to see the human hordes attacking for 2 hours. That was all I wanted. It was a cool visual that I think they could have really gotten creative with and made something that would have been iconic.
