"Chris Christie won’t dine at the White House on his swing through Washington this weekend."
"The New Jersey governor is set to leave town Sunday morning, his office confirmed, before a Sunday night White House dinner traditionally attended by governors of both parties during the annual National Governors Association meeting."
"Christie sat next to first lady Michelle Obama at last year’s dinner, and drew heat from some Republicans for famously embracing President Barack Obama just days before the presidential election in 2012 as the men surveyed Superstorm Sandy damage in New Jersey."

Too late.
Damage has been done.
Apologies for goofing on posting. I scheduled for 9:00 and hit publish and it published as 9:00 and this caused massive confusion because on planet Earth in NY it is only like 7:00 at the time because it's only like 5:00 here where I am at, and I did the math thing of adding two hours, at the time of massive confusion, just a moment but by then I notice already three views.
Comprende le voux?
A girdle won't hide his belly, either.
I am glad he is skipping dinner.
I should be so disciplined.
@ Chip....well shoot. I was trying to envision how the mitering worked.
There are so many good reasons to reject Christie as a Presidential candidate without ever touching on which Democrats he has said nice things about.
I know right? I mean he's a Bruce Springsteen fan and that is reason enough to despise him.
A Bruce Springsteen fan? After crying when Bruce talked to him, I'd give him "Groupie" status.
Springsteen made a lot of good music in the 70s.
Music is one thing. Lyrics are another.
I know right? The freakin' guy is seventy! I don't think he is making good music in his seventies. When the hell is Springsteen gonna retire? It's freaking ridiculous that he is singing about the common man when he is a freaking multi-millionaire.
I hear that Christie called up Woody Allen to baby sit.
The freakin guy is the next thing to a freakin Democrat. Screw him.
It isn't his age that bugs me, it is that he tours even though key members of the band are dead now.
I know right? It is almost as bad as the Beatles getting back together.
Or should I say the Beatle.
(Ringo doesn't count)
George Harrison was the Ringo of the Beatles.
The E Street Radio channel on Sirius, which is mostly Springsteen music, is really really good.
