Trooper York's word of the day

  1. characterized by vulgar or pretentious display; designed to impress or attract notice.
"books that people buy and display ostentatiously but never actually finish".
  2. Conspicuous consumption - "he is so ostentatious that he shoots 4x8 sheets of plywood using 9mm ammunition".

Just so we are clear, Troop did not write this post. 9mm is not his preferred caliber.

I drive two ostentatious cars but shoot only locally made weapons.

My tow vehicle with the 6.2 liter will run on cheap subsidized corn squeezins but it isn't plentiful in Middle TN so it takes 93 octane all of the time.

My "toy" car will theoretically run on the pedestrian go juice, but since I've had the computer tweaked for 10% more horsepower and 15% more torque, I'm afraid to make the engine go BOOM on the plebe fuel.

If there's fuel available, we'll be taking the camper to Columbus, Indiana next week to tour the architecture.

Right now FICUS has shown real leadership in making people shelter in place so we'll see.

Sixty, you aren't related to the Gropin's, are you, 'cause that's plagiarism?
