Second Line...

One needs to be played off stage properly. All too soon it seems, sometimes, but we all get our closer walk...

Music of the American south.  Ali Jackson's drum solo makes this piece work.

I've not heard the likes of this before. Beautiful. Moving. Memorable. Honoring of life itself and the vitality that unites and calls us each into unique expression--as individual as the bows each took at the end.

What a group of musicians. I loved seeing all that talent compressed into one small stage and still being able to hear frequent bursts of silence in the midst of their playing as if they all agreed that the creator of the silence is the one they were playing for. It's more like the 3rd or 4th line up here where I am but I heard the drums.

Your photo appears to have a face peering down from the clouds, a favorable augury in conjunction with the music.
