I'll never turn my black liberal city woman girl friend into a redneck but I've made a little progress. She'd never touched a gun until I took her out to the woods and we sat on the riverbank plinking away with a .22 rifle. She says she's an environmentalist but when I told her she was breaking the law by shooting lead bullets into the river she didn't stop blasting away at driftwood. Now she has a concealed carry permit and a pistol.
