Beware the Walking Dead!

He wants to start one more war before he shuffles off of this mortal coil.

Maybe Russia. Between him and Lady Graham and the media and the Democrats they will have us in a shooting war before you know it.

I watched Canadian news for the last days. Very little on Russia, but those hosers are sweating their balls off about NAFTA. I must say, Tim Horton's is better than Dunkin' Donut.

last "10" days. And hosers HATE Trudeau pardoning and paying that terrorist. 70% strongly oppose what Fidel's outside child did.

Junior has the stage to himself, but he's not going to start anything.

The time to do that was when his BFF Lurch wanted to shut the book on our MIAs so one of his cousins could get a lucrative foot in the door in Hanoi (howzat for a memory seared, seared, into people's brain?).

Nowadays Junior goes along to get along and he can't even do that anymore. He's walking in Teddy Kennedy's footsteps so you wonder if he sees those MIAs where Teddy saw Mary Jo.

Wow. Even showing up within five days of having a cancerous tumor removed from the brain doesn't matter to you. No doubt you are in the place in which not only do you more admire those who didn't captured, but also those who didn't get cancer.

I guess it's on account of only your and your wife's issues mattering, health-wise, which--of course!--somehow can be blamed on other people's people long ago.

Lucky, you two are ... .

My late girlfriend had a cancerous tumor removed from her head, and her head was shaved, and where they did the operation, there was a 2 inch by 2 inch chunk of her skull removed, then stapled back in place. Big Scar. Remarkably, McCain doesn't even have a scar that I can see. Any other pictures of him after the operation?

The scar is above his left eye.

Rcommal I would not feel sorry for Pol Pot or the little creep in North Korea either.

John McCains ego has sent thousands of American boys to their death to realize his neocon wet dreams.

He will promote war with his last breath.

His ego and self regard is such that he would never step down no matter how incapacitated he might be. Just like Teddy Kennedy and William O Douglas the ultra-liberals he most resembles he will cling to power until his last breath.

He is the equivalent of Jefferson Davis. A valiant soldier whose actions were destructive to unimaginable degree.

I was with you until you sullied Jeff Davis - this means war, Y*nkee!

Yeah, I'm with Trooper on this one. I can separate my admiration, awe really, for McCain's military service and sacrifice, from his deplorable (yes!), self-serving, bombastic, bumbling, hypocritical Senate record. Yesterday's "triumphant" return of the "lion of the senate" and his "maverick" finger-waving speech was a shameful display. One for the show reel, I'd guess. Look, at this point I'm resigned to the fact that it's going to take a long time to dig out from under Obamacare. That's just the way it is. It's an entitlement now and it's going to have to be eliminated in stages, demedia shrieking every step of the way. BTW, if John McCain was Joe Shit the Ragman (ie., me or you) he'd already be dead. They wouldn't have caught the cancer in time (appointment not available until October) and they certainly would not be considering heroic efforts.

I'm glad he's still with us but I'm not going to clap like a monkey for obvious political rhetorical shenanigans.

I had this kid I went to school with all the way from Grammar school until high school. His Dad was a big shot in the ILA. I never like him and we were never friends. He was a nasty son of a bitch and always picked on the smaller kids and we had a bunch of confrontations about it.

So he becomes a fireman and dies on the job. Of course his family was devastated. This was long before 911 but was an eerie precursor. The family started all kinds of memorials to him. They have a shrine in Carroll Park. They even had a park on the waterfront named after him.

When his name came up I just keep my mouth shut. You can be a hero and still be a piece of shit. It is that simple.

Is the ILA a Japanese version of the IRA? Asking for a friend...

My late first cousin, who was both closest in age to me and my closest cousin (and also my late mother's favorite niece, and I have pictures/videos of them both together in their latter times; they died within scant years of each other), also had a cancerous tumor from her head, and here head, was shaved, and for many years the chunk of her skull that was removed was preserved (medically speaking) yet not put back.

Both of our anecdotes are essentially useless, on account of the truly, really, seriously, exponential advances in medical research, medical technology, and medicine etc. etc. etc. And by exponential, I truly do mean, and I stand by full stop that I just said that I truly do mean, advances in all of those things. Nothing could have saved my mother before that time or even now;--we are not there yet. However, it's possible (and by possible I don't mean definite much less definitively) that had my cousin gotten struck by a brain tumor cancer just a few years later, with a little bit more of the exploding medical knowledge that has occurred--and make no mistake about it, since she was diagnosed in the earlier aughts--who knows whether she would have had more time or not. I don't. Who knows whether or not her surgeries would have been less intrusive. Who knows whether she would have presented externally (that is: "Why doesn't that scar look right in the way I expect" etc. etc. etc. & so on) in a different way, or not, than your ex-girlfriend did, or even as John McCain is.

Look, I don't question the theater surrounding so much of all of this. I certainly do not question that theater was involved in John McCain's return to the Senate floor (but then, let's not forget, even Donald Trump said that he was needed).

And I surely do not have, first hand, any specific information about John McCain's medical condition, whatever it is, as do not you.

What I do take exception to (apart from what I wrote in my original comment here) is that somehow one can definitely decide how someone ought look post surgery, post treatment, today based on how one's ex-girlfriend or one's cousin or any one at some point in the past *looked* in the *past*, much less on extrapolation based on that.

Medical treatments and procedures are exponential in nature in terms of change and leaps forward, and this has been true for quite a while. I know this to be true, first hand, and I could give even more examples.

The point is: Why jump to swipes based on medical conditions? We all have them, or at least eventually will, or at least have known people over time who do or have.

That response speaks for itself.
