Banned Again....Naturally.

I have been banned from quite a few websites over the years. Little Green Footballs. Television Without Pity. Red State. Althouse. Daily Kos. Liberal and conservative it doesn't much matter. They have all told me to take a hike.

The latest one is Previously TV which I have been hanging around lately because I am getting bored with the political stuff. I managed to get over 10,000 likes for funny comments in a couple of months. Along with five suspensions and warnings from the tight ass social justice warriors who moderate the site. Of course the moderators are all rabid liberal social justice warriors feminists who bash men especially white men non stop 24/7. I managed to get through the election and the non stop Trump hate by not taking the bait most of the time. But I got tripped up by talking the way I normally talk. I was talking about Chinatown restaurants and said that the women who run it are not the stereotypical quiet Asian types. Of course I referred to them as Mama-san which is what I used to call them when I was doing the taxes in all of those Chinese restaruants. Funny that it never bothered them but outraged some cunty millennial who moderated the site and banned me for "over the top racism." Listen toots I know about over the top racism. I specialize in it. This wasn't even close. None the less I am banned and I don't get to talk about the Real Housewives. So I will have to talk about them here and drive Spinelli crazy.

Maybe it's time to talk to Baron Zemo about this. It just ain't right.

(Check out this commercial. Look at how our country has changed. For the worst. The car alone is enough to give the climate change pussies a coronary. Let alone two  hot girls wanting to have sex with a guy in a cool car. Jeez. I wish I had a time machine.)

Talk about Reality TV and I will rip it. That's the way it's supposed to work. On a serious note, I observe how Reality TV has changed our culture. My daughter is an avid consumer and it has changed the way she speaks. She uses more words than needed and narrates what she's doing, a stark change from how she was 5 or so years ago. It truly bothers me.

You wouldn't have been banned from TOP had you not posted that selfie-in-shorts picture, you jamoke.

On Reality TV even the worst behavior is forgiven - the show must go on! People do and say horrible things and then they are excused because they were "going through" something or were "misunderstood" somehow. Emotional excuses that don't really make sense but the show doesn't want to dump a drama character so the disapproval is short-lived and the cycle continues, puke, rinse, repeat. My assistant at work loves these shows so I am treated to recaps occasionally even though she knows I hate it and I do not understand the attraction. It's not reality - the shows pay for all/part of the lavish lifestyles, and even so the taste level is hideous. Grifter luxe. The stories are boring and the people are stupid and depressing. Is it that you feel superior to these idiots? Inferior (looking for guidance)? Does it confirm biases?

I know right?

I had long involved emails with the moderator to no avail.

You just can't talk to social justice warriors.

Reality TV is todays reality.

Afterall our President is a Reality TV star. He got elected because of his experience of a reality TV star.

It's reality for morons. They always recap what happened in the prior segment after an ad break, because the morons forgot.

Those old commercials were all like that. When Dodge put out the Javelin, the ads had girls driving by doing everything but flashing and yelling, "Hey, Javelin!".

Of course, the best was Triumph when they put out a zippy little number in the mid 60s called the Spitfire. We're in the James Bond era, the Beatles have just hit, mini-skirts and cleavage are all the rage, WWII is still the stuff of legend, and the ad has an old guy getting out of a Spitfire (turns out he's the Spitfire pilot with the highest number of kills alive) saluting some young guy in a sports car being mobbed by women.

The tag line, "You not only get a car and a girl, you get a piece of history".

I've been banned from TOP twice. Sad. With Democrats making a full run towards a progressive form of communism, TOP is starting to seem rather rational and common sense. Still, it is the commenters that make the place.

I completely get turning away from all politics all the time. I'm tuning into some tv/movie critics on youtube, and despite Hollywood's claim, most give a solid criticism without political slant. The only slant is the messaging from Hollywood. When not watching entertainment critics, I'm watching old WWII documentaries. It's amazing what Americans age 19-25 used to do for their country because they knew what real fascism was.

I tried to use that first T.V. place mentioned, Television Without Pity, I think. The place that you mentioned before.

I used to look up Sense8.

And I realized the original reviewer did not watch the entire two seasons available on Netflix. They sampled one or two of the first episodes and rated the whole show based on that. They did not comprehend what they saw and so nixed it.

And commenters to the review are even worse.

It's not a difficult show to grasp. But it is very different. And its difference are what makes the show so intelligently constructed and so intriguing to watch, so engaging once it gets really going.

See, the characters have dreams that disturb them. The dreams are lucid with recurring characters. Over time, and this does take several episodes and several characters to deliver, the characters begin feeling connected.

Turns out there are eight of them. Across the world. People born on the same day. So they're all the same age exactly.

At length they realize they're all connected psychically although separated by vast distances.

There is an unusually high number of gays and a tranny.

This tranny is a difficult character to accept. For me, anyway. But she turns out to possess key skills. She grows on you.

Together the group comes to realize that they are humanity's next evolutionary stage.

And by listening to a famous anthropologist's theories they realize the old school humans have decided they must be killed. The analogy was Cro Magnon killed Neanderthals. (not true) So today's established order is threatened by that. They believe the Sense8s will rule or kill them so they've taken action to prevent it. This is great conflict through the show.

But it's hopeless for the old order.

The Sense8s use their combined skills to develop as individuals. And they do grow in skills rapidly. Under extreme pressure. At the end of the second season they realize there are other Sense8 groups too, but they're all laying low and making themselves hard to contact.

These two seasons had me very eager for more.

But why so many gays? It's a bit too gay heavy. Why?

Turns out the show's creators are brother and sister, both rather wild, and the male sibling transitioned. During the shooting, so the second season is mostly written by somebody else.

Recommended. Highly recommend for smart sports such as yourselves.

But you'll probably classify it as another of those shows that must be watched twice to comprehend.

Not so. I just explained the whole premise, and portions actually move fairly slowly. I got bored in spots where the characters anguish about things that I don't care about. Did crossword puzzles while watching. Their drug addictions for example. Skip skip skippity skip through sections without losing anything important.

Check it out, Checkitouters:

Wikipedia: Very interesting article, in my opinion.

READ IT I said.

YouTube sample of a favorite character. The Russian guy is the most compelling character of the lot. Leto is a hunky Spanish actor who realizes he's actually a fraud. He's extremely emotional. One of the viewers' favorite character. Watch how cleverly this is filmed, and how confusing it must be for impatient noncomprehending minds. Here Leto takes over where the Russian guy cannot perform. They're having an out-of-body experience together and analyzing a critical moment. They're actually continents apart. Yet the actors interchange, as if they are one.

No matter how different, the characters must accept each other because of their psychic linkage. Most intriguing. A real spiritual lesson here and without a trace of preaching. Just confronting. That's all. Quite an amazing approach to social justice propaganda. It outdoes everything else spoken of online. It's a beautiful thing to behold.

The African character is the most sympathetic of all. His world is pure shit. He cannot fight. The Korean woman is daughter of a corporation owner who has ignored her throughout her whole life. She's hard as nails and she's the best fighter of all. She connects with the African guy during his moment of crisis. Watch how they switch out although on separate continents so that she can do his fighting for him. Her scenes are awesome. The whole thing is awesome. She both fights and accepts her situation all the way through the series.

I hope they complete this series. I'll just die of disappointment if they don't.

Crazy Ladies, Lana and Lilly Wachowski, very well done. I must say. And congratulations on an excellent show and told very well. You got me POW right in the solar plexus.

That's when I went looking for a new home.

I like the pic Chip, but Drudge posting it is akin to other media types calling a SKS a AK-47. The aircraft that shotdown the SU-22 was a F/A-18 (presume of the Super variety).

"Together the group comes to realize they are humanity's next evolutionary step."

With age one is more and more out of it. Or put with less pomposity I am more out of it. Does this mean evolution is occurring? I would say so EXCEPT the same thing was experienced by possibly the greatest French diplomat, Talleyrand, who lived a long life stretching from 1754 to 1838 and encompassing the reign of The Sun King through the Revolution and all the way to post Napoleonic France. Anyway, he too expressed mild discombobulation with the world that surrounded him toward the end, his end. Had evolution occurred, or merely change? Merely change. But a helluva lot of it.
