He's just being honest about his Cloward-Piven strategy. And to think that insulated people like Althouse still find him endearing.

It's a ballsy, naked gambit on Obama's part. He's waited to the end to voice his real strategy: to gin-up enough illegal vote to put Clinton over the top without pissing off enough undecideds to quash his scheme.

Obama is truly loathsome man. Many of saw through all of this from the beginning. Others pretended to see something else.

chickelit said...

Let's hope that Obama's strategy works like his gun control: a proliferation of voters opposed to his scheme swell the ranks like new gun purchasers.

Dude, I think you may have something there. We all know Pissy is the kiss of death for many politicians; why should this be any different?

Consider that he probably should have waited until noon tomorrow to pull this. Right now, it has just enough to get out and anger people. It will give Trump and his supporters more than enough valid reason to challenge the results if The Donald doesn't win. Maybe it's his last little shot at Frumpty. Maybe it's his last, "Up yours", to America.

They are certainly that desperate. Consider this from Daily Caller

While Trump has put many blue and ultramarine (blue purple) states in play, Frumpty has put no red, crimson (pinkish purple) or maroon (red purple) states in play.

The heavy breathing of the video is annoying. I'm not sure I agree with the notion that Obama is encouraging the vote. Rather he's not discouraging the vote. That there will be no repercussions is nothing new. We've had sanctuary cities for decades.

Federal law is something to enforce only when you want a certain result. You enforce IRS laws when you want to squelch speech. You enforce laws on classified information when you want to remove military officers to make room for LGBT officers. You enforce immigration laws when you want to force towns to take in refugees. You withhold FEMA support when a state votes against you. You don't enforce drug laws on the book, but you do enforce banking laws against banks that support gun manufacturers. This is all been going on for awhile. So telling an illegal that no one is watching them while voting is old news.

That said, the only solution to this is to rally the local police to enforce the laws. To call your State's SecState office to enforce voting laws. And to have your local news report the consequences of illegal voting.

And then vote out both the Dems and Repugs that refuse to represent Americans. Ack, first find some candidates interested in upholding the law, rather than getting rich. That will be difficult, because too few good people are really interesting in politics.

Is it okay to write that Althouse is an execrable communist stooge? If not, the let me say that she is the most intelligent alcoholic tool of the State I have ever encountered.

edutcher said...

Think about this.

Immigration has been Trump's best issue. It put him on the map. He's sure to hit this hard at every rally he does today and tomorrow (MN, MI, FL, PA, NC). It's also a loser with blacks - one reason why Trump does twice as well with blacks as Romney did.

Why play to your opponent's best hand?

Maybe this is how he gets even.

Think about it.

And this should whet our appetites, Frumpty's Catholic hater is warning any WikiLeaks bombshell in the last 2 days would be phony

A spokesperson for Hillary Clinton's campaign said Sunday that if Wikileaks were to publish a bombshell email in the final two days of the election, it would likely not be authentic.

“Friends, please remember that if you see a whopper of a Wikileaks in next two days - it’s probably a fake,” tweeted Jennifer Palmieri, the communications director for the Clinton campaign.

Related: Yet during his remarks, Kaine laid out how a Clinton administration plans to hasten the demographic transformation through expansive immigration policies that would essentially bring about the dissolution of national borders.

Kaine did not have the cajones to say it in plain English, however.

Now hold on a minute there, Chick. Are you saying that an intelligent, well-read, worldly woman like Professor Althouse finds a petty, dishonest, small-minded, contemptible, smart-assed little prick of a man like Obama endearing? An object of affection?

What evidence, what behavioral history, could you possibly present to back up this assertion?

Or it could be baboon buffoonery. Gnome sane?

Your obsession with the way one person voted in 2008 is odd. All sorts of people got that one wrong. What of it?

Especially since AA voted Romney 4 years later.

Thanks Lem. I have to agree that it is a shame that we a have a national leader that has no problem telling foreign agents how to take our sovereignty. Its just that we jumped down this slope long ago. If what he said was an universal outrage (I was going to say a true outrage, but then it is); you would hear Republican governors doing something about it. After all, we are still a Republic and the states run polling places.

What amazes me is that the GOP doesn't even care. We had a local prosecutor arrest a governor for exercising veto powers, and that's ok. It's national news as a "will he or won't he go to jail" and not "an out of control prosecutor needs to be stopped". You have unlawful prosecution in Wisconsin. And there is hardly a peep when the PA AG finally gets put in jail. These things happen with no national voice from the GOP saying this has to stop. So yeah; the President is going to go out and say, "hey, take your chances, and your chances are pretty good because the opposition is too scared to do anything about it." What's the real response from the GOP; "we don't like Trump because he's not afraid to talk about sex with women".

You're wimpy disagreement aside, when the Chief Law Enforcement officer of the USA, the man charged with executing the laws, tell people they'll be no repercussions if non-citizens vote that's encouragement.

If a City police Chief told men not to not worry about being charged for rape, he'd quite rightly be labeled as "encouraging" rape.

edutcher said...

Rinse has been pretty good.

It's all the NeverTrumpers, ie Whigs, that let this stuff happen.

You'll see McConnell or Ryan or Little Marco or the One True Ted faffling in front of the camera, but it's all gesture.

Like somebody belching up all the Roe propaganda about how Trump was going to throw the election.

And Pissy is not "the Chief Law Enforcement officer of the USA, the man charged with executing the laws", that's Lynch, the AG.

Duh.

Rabel said...

Apparently, and thanks to Ed for raising the point, there's a whole lot more fafflin' going on than I was aware of.

chickelit said...

@edutcher: I rarely disagree with your points of fact, but POTUS may well be the top law enforcer, insofar as he/she appoints the AG. A cursory glance into the web corroborates: link.

Rabel asked: What evidence, what behavioral history, could you possibly present to back up this assertion?

I was referring to two recent posts-- one claiming the man was a "mood elevator" with no evidence other than her own feelings; the other was an "I miss him already" missive. Obama has always insulted half of America. He should never be forgiven for that. Ever.

I refer all to the Hitler Stalin non-aggression pact we signed some time ago.

I respectfully request that we live up to it's precepts and refrain from referencing people and places that are not referencing us.

Everybody has to do what they have to do but I hate to open a can of worms so late in the day.

Thank you for your support.

Anytime the left talks about the "sanctity" of the vote or the "fundamental" right to vote, they're talking about it with respect to voting for a lefty. God forbid that a lefty should have to ACTUALLY GO to the polling place and/or SHOW IDENTIFICATION LIKE IN HITLER TIMES (or at the DMV or traveling by plane or attending King Putt rallies) and/or BE AN ACTUAL CITIZEN. ermigerd. the horror. crisis.
The indisputable fact that votes by zombies, non-citizens, dead people, and multiples disenfranchises right wing votes is of no matter to them. Hundreds of thousands, possibly millions, of disenfranchised voters. Fundamental right: Whatever. This particular fundamental and sanctified civil right is only held by people who vote for Democrats.

Note that according to the dipshit doing the interview you're a citizen if you "contribute" to the nation. So tourists are now citizens. What if you're here and you don't "contribute." Is your citizenship revoked?

Democrats: Not thinking things all the way through for generations, without consequence!

I see your point - it is he who is Chief Executive and must pass on the AG's policies, but the AG is not absolved simply because she is appointed.

See Nuremburg, orders, only following.

I think we can point out the dangers of falling in love with a politician without providing specific examples. We all know people who do it and it's always for the Democrat. Nobody falls in love with the Republican candidate, and that's a good thing long-term because you need to keep your distance from the politicians or they will own you. Remember when idiots thought the ladies would all go for Dan Quayle? GOP Establishment standard-issue equivalency thinking right there. Our guy is "handsome," TOO. Idiots. Anyway, the Dems have been doing this thing since Kennedy and they rope people in with it. Play it like it's high school and the cool sexy guy is Their Guy. Disgusting sweaty nerd is the Republican. Or, more recently, senile old dumb guy or snooty rich guy. Ick, nast. Not picking that guy for our team. Cool guy, YAY. Once the people have an emotional investment in doing the bidding of the cool guy, then they go back and piece together some pseudologic to justify it. Anyway, the cool guy in this election (if there is one) is clearly Trump so we'll see whether there is an equivalency reverse play.
