Detectorists

A great little show...quirky, understated, and sweet. Thank you April for telling us about this one.

Odd word, "detectorist." It has two agent suffices, "or" and "ist." I suppose it can't be "detectors" because that's the name for the machine. Starting from scratch, I'd call it "Metal Detectives."

Welcome back, deborah. I missed you.

Don't miss the "Christmas Special"

MacKenzie Crook is the writer/producer and he plays the character Andy.
Noticed on Youtube that he won some local awards in the UK for it.
