I'll live

But I cannot drive or do anything

Called King Soopers to make a delivery of essentials. All bland things. Like hospital food.

I hope so. I was starting to become concerned. The saliva thing sounded odd. Enough to make me wonder if one of those pepper seeds was stuck or an allergy response had been triggered. I've not heard of unchecked saliva flow being part of a cold.

Regardless of what else is flowing, the poetry is fine and the sentiments expressed once again invite an assortment of thoughts and feelings, including laughter over the plight of the stinking soup, the scapegoatfish for the whole wondrously awe-full and awful experience.

ChipA, I'm hoping there is someone willing to check in on your sanity and need for outside intervention if this situation does not begin to improve.

Sounds like food poisoning. Excessive saliva is the body's way of preparing you for some major upchucking and similar situation on the other end of the alimentary canal.

Ginger ale and soda crackers and lots of liquids.

Then....get thee to a doctor.

I am with DBQ on that diagnosis. For me it is also a precursor to going into shock after eating something I am allergic to.
