Oh no you didn't.......Black Lives Matters want to screw with Elvis!

Black Lives Matter Targets Graceland: Plans To ‘Shut Down’ Elvis Week

Breitbart News by Aaron Klein August 14, 2016

The Coalition of Concerned Citizens, a radical group that includes Black Lives Matter protesters, has set its sights on Elvis territory, with a plan to “Shut Down Graceland” on Monday.

While the target might seem unusual, the timing is not. The annual Elvis Week has been taking place since Wednesday and is slated to continue until Tuesday.
The local TV station Fox 13 reports:Protest leaders say the mass demonstration is planned for 6:00pm Monday. They said they specifically chose Graceland because it is Elvis week and they know it will raise awareness. Leaders say they also chose Graceland because “it demonstrates one of Memphis’s most common forms of financial inequality and because the site has ties to … the death of unarmed teen Darrius Stewart.”
“We feel like we still haven’t been answered,” said Frank Gottie, a community leader. “They’re givin’ us the runaround.”
The Coalition of Concerned Citizens in Memphis consists of the Black Lives Matter Memphis Chapter, the Memphis Grass Roots Organization, the New Black Panther Party for Self Defense & Inward Journey, and other groups. Memphis Voices for Palestine announced it will also join the planned Graceland chaos.
The Coalition released the following statement: The demonstration, set for Monday at 6:00pm, is planned as a peaceful show of solidarity, unifying the people of Memphis against systems that promote poverty, violence, and economic disparity. Graceland was chosen as a protest site because it demonstrates one of Memphis’ most common forms of financial inequity and because the site has ties to a prominent case of police brutality that resulted in the death of unarmed teen Darrius Stewart.
Graceland recently opened The Guest House, a new 450-room resort-style hotel in the heart of the African-American community of Whitehaven. The project cost more than $120 million to build and received upwards of $78 million in public funding and tax breaks. Project developers and city officials promised Whitehaven residents the project would be an economic boon to the community, but as has been case for decades, residents have seen little if any of that money “trickle down” into the middle-class neighborhood’s economy. This is not an uncommon story.
According to Graceland.com, events being held during Elvis Week include:
The annual Candlelight Vigil, The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, The Auction at Graceland, Elvis Fan Reunion, Conversations on Elvis, The Gospel Music of Elvis Presley Concert event, and much more. Special guests include Elvis’ co-stars, Francine York and Celeste Yarnall, TCB Band Member Glen Hardin, Elvis biographer Peter Guralnick, and many more.

Just curious: Are the major cabal news channels covering the Milwaukee riots? I know you might think I'm lazy for not checking myself (I could); I just don't want to give them eyeballs.

I just drove through Memphis on the way to Arkansas. I thought of stopping at Graceland but didn't. We were in a hurry to get through.

George Soros was hacked too.

This is outrageous!

What did Soros ever do to hurt Americans?

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

I don't know, chickenhead. Declare bankruptcy four times? Did he speculate on American currency markets? Talk about how he was an American economic nationalist while manufacturing in China?

I realize your need to have a big, bad left-wing villain is intense. But there already is one. It ain't George Soros, kid.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

Lol. You're going to Alex Jones for your info, now. Hilarious.

The guy believes lizard-people are taking over the world. Ha hahaha. Chemtrails.

Here's your Edward R. Murrow, Chickie!

Andrew Neil later revealed that the guy was just doing an act. Calmed down the second the cameras were off him.

Dear Readers: R&B and I have had a running feud about the saintliness of George Soros.

I feel Schadenfreude and he feels the need to defend.

BTW, Soros's recent donation to Hillary far exceeds anything Trump ever gave her.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

What causes has Soros championed that do as much harm to Americans as your "saintly" Koch brothers? Who, BTW, are actively championing your same Hilary Clinton as we speak. Kochs support Hillary!

See, this is what happens when you play the ridiculous "false balance" MSM game of trying to put a foreign currency speculator in the same league as guys who have brainwashed you into thinking that lead, mercury and cadmium are benign elixirs that promote healthy functioning in the human body. While, BTW, the criticism of your source (the deliberate lunatic Alex Jones) still went unanswered. How does someone like you - who feels that pollution is healthy - get credible news from a guy who thinks that jet streams are made to deliberately poison us?

Meanwhile, has Trump stopped outsourcing his manufactured goods? I'm guessing not, but it seems you prefer the narrative to the truth. Hell, I bet you if Koch Industries was supporting Trump instead of Hillary then you'd be back to your old game of telling me how wonderful they were.

You are not consistent and in danger of becoming a more transparent hypocrite than you want to be.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

Whatever. Welcome to Chickie's America. No more freedom to speak or associate.

A guy like you apparently needs an Alex Jones-level conspiracist/carnival barker to feed into the level of self-deception and massive false equivalence you engage. You are seriously worse than the MSM. A guy who believes that industrial pollution is healthy biochemistry getting his news spoon-fed to him by someone who believes that jet stream trails are laced by the U.S. gov't with deadly toxin and that human genetic engineering experiments are taking place in our vaccines. I guess now is the time for weirdos of the world to unite - no matter how diametrically opposed their views are.

Will Jones let you interview the BIlderberg Group, too? Maybe they're also behind the Jewish conspiracy of giving you two short, female senators.

Seriously, man. You are messed up.

chickelit said...

Soros would have looked a bit more saintly if he had given to Bernie's campaign instead of to Hillary's. She hardly needed the money but probably enjoyed the compliment.

Talking with you is like talking to the wall. Only walls get less easily distracted. Enjoy your conspiracies.

Well, if you have a choice of getting on the Trump Train or getting on the Soros Train, I would highly recommend the Trump Express. At least if you're a member of the Tribe.

edutcher said...

Chick, Gateway has a similar item on Dr Evil, but this part is, oh, so special

Soros is named as the architect and sponsor of almost every revolution and coup around the world for the last 25 years. Thanks to him and his puppets USA is thought to be a vampire, not a lighthouse of freedom and democracy. His slaves spill blood of millions and millions people just to make him even more rich. Soros is an oligarch sponsoring Democratic party, Hillary Clinton, hundreds of politicians all over the world..

And then, from the world of reality, comes this, several squad cars fired upon in Milwaukee

WI may go for Trump, after all.

Sorry.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

I'm not on any train. I just think it makes sense to value accuracy over conspiracy. You can tell Chickie's all boo-hoo over Trump's unfavorable coverage (as if he's actually hurt by the attention or doesn't love to invite it). But being honest about any of these things is simply not Chickie's bag. Soros is to Chickie what Trump is to the media. They're all Hillaries, AFAIC.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

Gateway pundit is definitely a better resource. Once I scroll past all the pop-ups and ads on earwax removal, Kate Middleton's naughty photos and pictures of Hillary in Bela Lugosi pose, that's when I'm sure that the truth is about to hit me.

Like it or not, Hoft documents his stuff, often with vids.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

Video evidence can be skewed and as relativistic and open to interpretation as the Zapruder film.

I find the Soros obsession to be fanatical and, after much digging, not much more than vaguely anti-semitic. If you want to take down powerful voices just because they're Jewish, then you guys need to get with the DNC. They'll hook you up.

edutcher said...

Rit, Dr Evil gave up on Judaism by the time he was 17 and riding around the streets of Budapest with the SS, fingering Jews and helping confiscate their property.

Blase about it all you want, but this guy is everybody's enemy.

Remember what you said about joining forces last night?

Hillary is hardly the ultimate target.

chickelit said...

Where is Father Groppi when you need him?

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

Hillary is hardly the ultimate target.

Right. The Jews are. Or at least, those who did what they had to to survive Nazis.

People like you need the DNC. You make them inevitable.

I don't join forces with drama queens.

I now suspect that those who wondered about how you would have gone after Sanders in a general were right, and it would have paled in comparison to what the DNC did to him.

It's ok, he's not going anywhere. And neither is Soros. And neither is Koch. Or the Waltons. Or anyone else with an opinion on how pro-democracy they'd like to be, or access to the resources to back up their feelings on the matter.

Rabel said...

With Ritmo here to act as confessor this is a good opportunity for me to bare my soul and admit to an act of overt, unbridled racism.

Last night, while flipping channels, I came across the Olympic 100 meter women's final. Just before they went into the blocks the camera scrolled down the line and introduced each competitor. The lineup from lane 1 to lane 8 was:

Black girl
Cute Black girl
Black girl
Pretty Black girl
Black girl
Kinda pretty Black girl
Black girl
Smoking hot white girl.

She was a Netherlanderite. Steam was coming off the track from her hotness. My thoughtcrime was that for no particular reason other than my innate racism, I pulled for the beauty from the land of the dikes (get your mind out of the gutter, Troop).

The only possible mitigating factor was that she was a bit of an underdog as she was not born with the gluteal privilege of the other girls. That's not to say that her glutes were not a work of art but they were more Rockwell than the Picasso's of the other competitors.

She won a victory of sorts as she finished fifth instead of last. Representin'. The Jamaican, of course, won.

But this was my crime, my burden to bear. I am sorry for my sin and as penance I pledge to be extra especially nice to whichever check-out girl I meet on my next trip to Walmart. It's the least I can do.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

Being a hot Dutch girl (and many, many of them are) is reward in itself. They're pretty tall, also.

As for gluteals and Africa, evolving strong butt muscles was key to upright walking bipedalism, and then, outrunning those muthafuckin' lions on the savannah.

They were unfairly selected for.

The rest of us, OTOH, bred with stocky Neanderthal cavemen the moment we got out of the continent.

It's no fair, I tell ya.

Funny how the only one talking about Jews is Ritmo.

The only one shaming survivors of those who tried to kill Jews is ed.

I just had to cover the bases. Chick's long been upset at the somehow "unrepresentative" nature of his senatorial delegation so naturally I've got to wonder about the origin of his Soros-hatred.

It's just something I don't get. He likes democracy, he thinks countries should have financial/political incentives to keep a stable currency... The Waltons underpay the largest U.S. workforce to the point of being the biggest employer of food stamp recipients. The Kochs tried to resegregate Wake Forest schools and prevent themselves from being accountable for polluting Americans. But you people get all hung up on a guy who speculates on non-dollar based currencies and promotes democracy abroad and/or here. What gives? Even Bush seemed to like the idea of democracy abroad. Did that suddenly become a bad thing? Or is it just the most evil thing because of something about this Soros guy that, for some reason, became more detestable than what any other politically active billionaire is doing?

Trooper York said...

Ritmo what about the Black Lives Matters activists that want to resegregate the schools? All the Black and Latino professors of African American studies who want to set up safe spaces that white people can not attend. That is what they want. That is what they are protesting about. Why not give the people what they want.

It is a win/win.

Wha? Dr Evil isn't a survivor, he was one of them.

Think it's time you take all of somebody's leftover gin bottles and go home for the night.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

I ain't defending BLM activists.

ed - you're right. You're a real Elie Wiesel. A Simon Wiesenthal. I suggest you head on over the Holocaust Memorial Center and let them know that they've got it all wrong - giving up this fight of yours to go after Holocaust survivors. It wasn't the hatred and bigotry of minorities that was wrong, Hitler's rhetoric or mass genocide - let alone the way it was organized. The real problem is that not enough is being done to divide Jews against Jews - like you're doing. You must have had a lot of experience with that.

Has ed actually ever seen a foxhole, Troop? I'm pretty sure that if you and him were Jews living in an East European ghetto, he would have jumped up and down screaming like a banshee and got you both killed - because petty, underage collaborators wanted to survive and all.

ed - only one solution (get it? Solution!) for a guy like you. Kill all those Jews the way that Palestinians kill those of their own who (are thought to) collaborate with the Israeli authorities.

There's your purity for you, ed. Not many people are pure enough to make one of the most notorious genocides about which Jews shouldn't have done what they could to survive. But you are. Only you're brave enough to do that. Congratulations!

Oh geez, Ritmo. I made a comment once about how unlikely was is that two liberal Bay Area jewish women had represented an entire state for so long and suddenly I'm an anti-Semite? Why not a misogynist as well, or being unfairly prejudiced against San Francisco values?

edutcher said...

Someone else would be screeching to have Rit removed.

I just smile. Sundays nights seem to be when all the painkillers kick in and life for Rit is one big balloon drop the way it's become for Hillary where her head swivels like a sparrow's.

So have fun, come back when reality hits.

chickelit said...

But ypu're right -- I have been long upset about Barbara Boxer. I think she's a complete idiot. DiFi, not so much.

I think ed knows what a foxhole is and he has a stubborn courage that I admire even if I don't agree with some of what he as to say.

He is absolutely correct that he does not demand that people who go after him should be deleted. Other people might profit from his example. Just sayn'

chickelit said...

Here's where I could every else's help:

Raise you voice here if you think George Soros is a great guy for America!

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

I made a comment once about how unlikely was is that two liberal Bay Area jewish women had represented an entire state for so long and suddenly I'm an anti-Semite? Why not a misogynist as well, or being unfairly prejudiced against San Francisco values?

Well, they could be. I can't remember what exactly the objection was so there's your leeway. And you're right that Boxer is dumber than Feinstein.

But still. Why is no one answering me on exactly what it is that Soros is doing that makes him so much more dangerous than any other politically active billionaire? Or think tank? Or whatever. There really is something about the guy that lights fire and attracts lightning from certain people on the right against the guy, and I can't figure out what it is.

Maybe Henry Ford might have understood.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

I don't think anyone should be deleted.

Courage is one thing.

Saying go after the hunted minority who was wily enough to survive genocide just sounds asinine, though.

I'm sure there were prisoners at Auschwitz who made use of discarded uniforms and other killed-off prisoners' extra clothing and food and provisions and belongings after they were offed, as well. I fail to see how they should be shamed, either. But maybe ed might.

Treason and patriotism are meaningful concepts in free societies.

Mis-applying them to subnational people being reduced by 90% under an industrialized program of genocidal tyranny is just plain jackassery.

chickelit said...

Why is no one answering me on exactly what it is that Soros is doing that makes him so much more dangerous than any other politically active billionaire?

You are quite fond of running down the Kochs. I appreciated their support for Scott Walker, but now the mask is off and they have lost my approval. I no longer agree with their goals. I see Soros the same way: There was no reason for him to fund, support, and encourage the protestors in Ferguson. I think it was detrimental to everyone involved. If he is involved in funding BLM in a general way, then I disagree with that too. Why not fund minority scholarships instead of subsidizing thugs?

Trooper York said...

I+ have to agree that Soros and the Kochs and Warren Buffet and Bill Gates have a lot in common. But Soros and the Kochs are mirror images of each other. Both are dangerous to our democracy. They have both proved it in this election.

Soros is a little worse but that is because he is more organized. Shrewder if you will. But I would have no problem with same conclusions that were reached in San Fransisco in 1856.

History always repeats itself.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

Criticizing funding of Ferguson protesters is a legitimate point to raise - not sure how much of a difference it would have made but there you have it.

But with Koch, why is the criticism just based on which party's pol they supported? The whole point is they think whoever will be more favorable to deregulating whatever they want to do is anti-democratic and in specific matters - segregation, pollution - morally objectionable.

I never found this to be the case with Soros' more usual causes - i.e. foreign currency speculation. But maybe there is something as morally/nationally objectionable in an activity like that I've also missed.

The Dude said...

DiFi would still be shuffling around in the halls of the San Francisco city hall if Dan White had moderated his eating habits even a little bit.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

Image is important. Koch gets the most objection because of outright payola and dedication to pollution and segregation. Soros - I'm still trying to figure out but still suppose objection to foreign currency speculation is the bulk of it. Gates tends to get the most positive reputation of the bunch because a lot of what he did in Africa is really seen as being philanthropic and farsighted - both altruistic and practical. Less so back in the days when he was a dedicated monopolist at Microsoft. Buffet is too devoted to finance writ large for most people to have an opinion on his political activities, I would think.

It was our decision to transnationalize commerce, though. We were sold all this and agreed to it hook line and sinker. I just don't understand how foreign currency speculation and democratization gets so much outrage. Maybe people here really do perceive that he has no patriotic sentiment or sympathy for the patriotic sentiments of people living in the countries whose currency he bets on.

chickelit said...

I just had an epiphany: George Soros wants to bring down the United States because he wants to speculate against the dollar. This is really no different than saying that the Kochs want to influence politics in order to get rich.

edutcher said...

He's done it before.
