History channel

This is not the real animated GIF because AdSense threatens to revoke its participation using its terms of service designed to keep its associated sites pure and clear of disturbing content so that its name is not associated with harsh reality. And harsh fantasy. They want an internet to be a safe place for delicate sensibilities left undisturbed. Too bad. This is the child's version. The adult version is placed an another of my sites not associated with fascists and their annoying manner of generating faint income in dribbles. That version is better.

You should buy something.

Through Lem's magical Amazon portal.

Aliens. What can't they do?
The debunking sites are hilarious. People are so pissed off what this guy gets away with, uncontradicted. On the "History" Channel. The professorial crazy hair and obliviously enthusiastic manner, the seamless conflation of historical/biblical and nonexistent authorities (alien astronaut theorists) he has suggested to millions of gullible rubes that humans didn't civilize themselves, ALIENS did. You didn't build that, in other words.
Parallels?

Thank you Chip.

The History Channel or as I call it, the Hitler Channel is basically a cable conspiracists playground of supposition and unsubstantiated bullshit. Nearly every show on there that deals with the topic of aliens or conspiracies presents 'evidence' from these 'experts' and has zero iota of rebuttal. I have a friend that wanted me to watch a documentary of how we didn't land on the moon and she is so convinced that we didn't that I watched it with her and laughed on any number of occasions debunking most of the crap that was presented.

One of the biggest points of the conspiracy is how there were no stars in many of the photographs while on the moon and I told her it was because of the types of cameras and filters that were used. Since the moon has no atmosphere and is bathed in pure, unfiltered sunlight, filters on the suit cameras were put into place to keep the film from burning out. If you take any of those pictures and change the brightness and contrasts and play around with the histograms slightly, I think you can actually end up seeing stars.

The other bullshit I debunked was that the flag they put up on the moon was waving like it was in the wind. I laughed at this one because I had to remind her that the Moon has no atmosphere, but it does have 1/6th the gravity of earth so if you didn't put stiffeners in the upper and lower portion of the flag to hold it open and flat then it would collapse under 1/6th of it's own weight, no atmosphere necessary. She countered with, then why is it waving? And I said because as you can see in the footage the astronaut is holding the pole its attached too and rotating it clockwise and counterclockwise as he positions it properly so along with the stiffeners on the top and bottom of the flag, that motion of axial pole rotation gives it the appearance of waving.

This went on and on until i debunked every single one of her glommed on ideas of the moon landing conspiracy and even at the end, her deranged thoughts still wouldn't convince her that she believed in a lie. That's how the power of suggestion works and people like the Clintons, Obama, and the left in general have used it to very great effect. Ask yourselves why leftists believe the groupthink crap that they do and yet conservatives shun groupthink overall and you'll see how this country has been manipulated all along by these people and why conservativism doesn't stand a chance against them.

I once tried, unsuccessfully, to talk someone out of the contrail/chemtrail conspiracy. For every objective fact, they had an alternative and unsupported supposition. No proof; just an adamant belief that fit in with their black helicoptor narrative. A year or so ago I went back to it, asked whether they'd seen any change (no) and, if not, why hadn't Obama put a stop to these nefarious doings (too busy/kept in the dark/coopted/busy negotiating with aliens).
Also, I did recently buy on Amazon through the Lemportal!

Kinda weird, actually.

But then, maybe I am Allen and I just don't know it.

Ahlright, Rabel, what do you want, the right, or the left shoe?

Rabel said...

Gotta be 12D.

Thanks AllenS and Rabel.

If it turns out that Allen wears a 12D, Ima have to rethink a few things.

And you're welcome.

The new shoes are here! The new shoes are here!

Well fuck. Kinda narrow. New Balance doesn't usually run narrow. Last pair were NB 12D's like these. Those fit fine. Got these for racquetball so you want a snug fit. Maybe they'll stretch out a little in time - if my toes don't turn blue and fall off in the meantime.

This is why I have never bought shoes on the internet. I guess I'll keep 'em. Damnit. Chinese made motherhumpers.

I wear a 10-1/2. I could put on a couple of extra pair of socks, though.

I'm buying new tennis shoes, because I was splitting wood with my wood splitter, and the return hose broke, and sprayed hot hydraulic fluid all over me, and filled my left tennis shoe up. I had to soak it in gasoline, then ended up putting it in the washing machine with other work clothes, and that was the beginning of the end for the shoe.
