Hillary Clinton vs. James Comey, email supercut

There is something wrong, more wrong than usual with Hillary this day of the gray scratchy dress, there is something drug-y to her aspect and then at the end we see her handled by proper nursing home assistant, "This way, Ma'am, offstage, that's right, no answering pesky nattering questions. Here we go. We're walking, and we're walking..." Hustled right off stage. Handled. Physically turned and led and handled by a handler.

The video is produced by Reason TV.

Great find, Chip. I follow Reason TV and watched this devastating clip last night. Trump could run it as is.

She's an old lady. Nothing wrong with being an old lady, actually a sick old lady, but why does she want the job? Is that a naive question?

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

Virtually anyone else would be prosecuted. Comey does not want to take the full heat for this so he gave her a pass.

In a weird way the Democrats may have preferred she be charged, Obama would pardon her (eventually) but it would give them the chance to dump her for Biden. But they seem intent on rolling the die with Hillary.

Lem the artificially intelligent said...

Trump posted a similar one facebook.

The point of Comey saying the words "at the time they were sent or received" was because that's how Hillary phrased it.

I find those string of words hilarious.

At the time they were sent or received Pizzeria.

Once again we are deigned to see the dichotomy of those with power and everyone else. If you are a powerful person with power, you will skate. Even as your illegality is read against you, you still get to fly away, free of any sanction of any kind. Flap flap flap, up up and away. SWOOSH!!! into the wild blue yonder of freedom. The freedom that lesser people have had snatched away for vastly lesser offenses. Now HRC gets to fly so high that she is literally above the law at this point.

There is no longer any meaningful semblence of law anymore after this. Comey doesn't realize the true damage he has done. You want to know why people are pissed? Because political expediency defeated the meaning of law and justice yesterday. The day after celebrating our nations 240th year of independence, we were treated with a FUCK YOU of resistance from the powerful to the peons. Lady Justice now wears that blindfold not because she is blind to the law, but because it is now hiding the black eyes and soaking up the tears she is weeping from being raped.

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

Why did Comey let her skate? He laid it all out and then - boom, nothing. We need to know why.
I'm sick to death hearing "He wanted to preserve his legacy."

WTF does that mean? His legacy according to the leftist power-brokers who will break his legs if he doesn't comply? His legacy would be golden had he recommended an indictment. I suppose he was told by Lynch she would never agree to it. Still, he should have recommended the indictment. Instead we are told to be happy about it, like after Judge Roberts gave us corrupt-o-care.

Joni Ernst out of the veepstakes.

She recommends Pence.

ndspinelli said...

I like Ernst but she would not have been a good pick. I hops he doesn't pick Newt. I could handle any others on the list. Pence would be a pretty good pick.

edutcher said...

Ernst wants to do right by her state. No problem there.

Pence isn't liked in many quarters, thought to be all hat and no cattle. A little surprised he's on the list.

They either have something on him or he was told the Administration would prosecute her like they prosecuted Fast And Furious.

This is the easy stuff.

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

easy - you know nothing, ed. You act like you have inside knowledge of what Bill and Lynch said in their private meeting on the tarmac. You are ridiculous ed. In fact, stop embarrassing yourself. and please - IGNORE ME.

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

Not a good answer, ed.

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

Comey could have suggested an indictment and then it would be in Lynche's court to deny it.

edutcher said...

All I know is what the smart people here tell me and they say Willie offered Loretta the AG slot.

But you, of course, can't figure out why Comey would sell out any more than Little Marco?

Do they pipe the legal marijuana into the water and bake it into the bread in CO?

Trooper York said...

The only things we know about the FBI director is what the news media tells us. How do we know he is a man of integrity? He had a chance to show us and he failed miserably. His job is to recommend an indictment if he thought there was a crime committed. He outlined several specific crimes. Then failed to ask that they be prosecuted. His motives do not matter. He failed the test.

He should be brought up on charges by the Congress and if he does not have an answer he should be impeached.

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

Agreed, Troop. Good answer.

Lem the artificially intelligent said...

I agree with Troop also.

Congress should ask him to resign tomorrow.

edutcher said...

Won't happen. Issa and Gowdy had the best shot at an indictment and they passed.

Pissy has ordained Cacklepants walks, so Ryan will do nothing.

We'll have to wait for the WI primary and then the Trump Administration to see anything done about Comey.

edutcher said...

There are several articles extant on the Interwebz about the statutes in question and easily found - Gray Lady, WaPo, Politico, etc.

The skinny is usually people walk because the charges require intent to be proven.

Petraeus and others were nailed on such charges because they were a threat somehow; Pissy wanted Petraeus destroyed because the man who won in Iraq might beat him in '12, so he had to go to the wall.

Pissy wants to go on the campaign trail so he can make this election a referendum on him (kiss of death for the Hildabeast), so Hillary walks.

For now. She's still a mess medically, but they've got a little wiggle room to come up with someone better than Fauxcahontas or Joe.

The issue of the Bernies still exists, however.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

If it is Newt or Fatty Arbuckle, I would go with Newt.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

They could have convicted Hillary of charges, both misdemeanors and felonies, that don't require intent. Gross negligence is the standard. This was political and cowardly, plain and simple. The fix was in.

The FBI director is not a man of integrity. Remember how they went after Scooter Libby and they are saying no prosecutor would take this case? Comey is a dirty whore for Obama. He is pissed at the GOP because he got into it with the Bush administration, probably could care less about Trump, and decided he would rather go along, knowing the media will mostly have his back. This route was easier for him, plain and simple.

edutcher said...

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

Remember how they went after Scooter Libby and they are saying no prosecutor would take this case?

Scooter was media-driven politics. Any US Attorney would have to have the cran to be willing to go up against the Choom Gang and the Ozark Mafia, and we all know how may corpses litter their path.

Then, of course, you'd have to get it past a Federal judge who would also be a hardcore Lefty. This is what all that Borking has brought us

It could be done, but a low yield thermonuclear device dropped on DC would probably be the easier way to go.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

ed, this is cowardice and corruption.

edutcher said...

Exactly.

When the Army's need for reforms was made public in the aftermath of the Spanish-American War, it was not by any of the officer corps, who had a lot to lose, but by that newly-minted amateur soldier, Theodore Roosevelt.

it has ever been thus.

Whistleblowers get their heads lopped off much of the time.

I think a bloodied Hillary is better for Trump than a Biden. But, I'm not from NYC so I don't know anything about politics, particularly "power politics" w/ fat men fetching coffee.

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

Americans are taught by the media and the culture (hollywood) to love firsts. First this firth that. Our obsession with firsts is a thing.

Hillary isn't that bloodied, she is protected by Obama and the media. and now exonerated by the DOJ. Wow - that was fast.

edutcher said...

She's not exonerated. Charges can still be brought against her at a later time.

That would have to be the Trump Administration. And she's very much bloodied.

ndspinelli said...

I think a bloodied Hillary is better for Trump than a Biden

Good Lord, yes, the media and the Internet have been awash in this and that 30% trustworthy rating is going to take a beating.

Any kind of hearing where the charges were thrown out of court would have been the preferred outcome.

But, then, none of these "lawyers" ever tried a case.

AP Attorney General Loretta Lynch: Clinton email investigation to be closed with no criminal charges.

Someone with credibility (so not ed) please answer - can she be charged later? I would guess no.

Methadras said...

No, this isn't corruption, this is the result of the corrosion from the initial corruption of instating Obama twice. Now we see how corrosive that corruption has been. Comey proved that the corrosion is quite deep now.

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

Wrong ed- a preferred outcome would have been Comey recommending an indictment.

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

Evi and Meth, Corruption -- Corrosion. Yes - it's all there and it's all way worse than we thought. The Clinton crime network will cement it.

All it says is the investigation is closed. Double jeopardy (that's in the Constitution, you know) does not apply unless she's tried. I don't know what the statute of limitations might be, but I'll bet it's later than 12/31/16.

Wrong ed- a preferred outcome would have been Comey recommending an indictment.

No, because then a judge could have thrown it out of court, as I said before. Then she'd be exonerated.

(she really doesn't get this, does she?)

BTW, I notice you don't mention nd. He raised it before I did.

Methadras said...

Actually, it's been around since the Ozark Mafia and, if we're honest, since the Johnson Administration at minimum.

Methadras said...

Ed,

Actually, it's been around since the Ozark Mafia and, if we're honest, since the Johnson Administration at minimum.

This is not untrue. However, there are prior administrations that were able to fix some of that corrosion and corruption, but leftists always find a way to corrupt and corrode everything they touch.

You mean like the actual indictment forced her "husband" to resign from office?

Like the perjury charges that cost him his law license forced her "husband" to resign from office?

Like lying to his Cabinet about how innocent he was forced her "husband" to resign from office?

And the media would have screamed at the injustice of it all and how mean everybody was being to the little old lady.

No, nd is right - and why aren't you levelling some of this at him? Let it all hang in the air.

All the evidence the G-men compiled so it can be used this Fall. As I say, another blow to that 30% trustworthy rating. And, if that latest poll - the one that has them 1 point apart after all that screaming about being down double digits - holds, this may be what swings the Indies to him.

Tough luck, kid.

Funny, you say that about Hillary, but you say we're losing.

You think Joe won't get the media support Hillary gets?

You think he won't be given a 10 point lead in the polls, just like Hillary? The old warhorse, come to save the party?

You think he won't be hailed for all his legislative achievements over the years and what a great foreign policy expert he's been?

A lot of democrat pundits were lining up behind the potential indictment idea and saying it could end her campaign

And a lot of Democrat pundits say the charges are bogus. Just like when Willie lied on the witness stand.

And she told George Ramos she would fight on, even if indicted.

You assume an awful lot, sweetie.

And you know what happens when you assume.

No straw man. Not mine, anyway. Yours, that I said he's better is the straw man. I asked you, did you think he would be any better, as in easier to beat. The Kool Aid is really hitting you hard.

Again.

You say Biden would be easy to beat, I show how he wouldn't. And, if you think the Ozark Mafia wouldn't be out for revenge after being denied the brass ring a second time, you really are dreaming.

April, that is naive. These people do not give a fuck. You know this. An indictment she would wear like a badge of honor and spit it back in everyone's face. she would go nowhere.

Now Trump can say that Hillary cannot even get a security clearance. The FBI said anyone would at least have their clearance revoked and unable to handle any such document EVER AGAIN.

Boo!

A president you cannot even talk to about important things, poor dear must be kept out of the loop, that's okay. Now there's a bubble for you. All state discussion must happen without her having access to anything important. It is a fatal blow.

Even PBS understands this and says so.
Even Rosanne Barr understands this and says so.

You should hear these two if you haven't lately. You'll sense a disturbance in the force, as if a million liberal minds derailed all at once, goes like this WONKA WONKA WONKA WONKA SMACK! WONKA WONKA PUNCH! WONKA POP! WONKA POW!, over and over arrhythmically atonally, dis-harmonically, and out of tune type of vibration one senses when one pauses on a channel usually skipped over or a website usually dismissed.

I thought Travis was interviewing a bag lady. Her t-shirt read "I'm not arguing, I'm explaining to you why I am right." The thing was on mute for a long time, then I turned on the sound and realized I'm watching Rosanne Barr. And she is sounding like a matured and sensible and settled lady. She sounds like my type of gal. The type lady you can have a drink with and enjoy. She blew my mind.

Rosanne Barr is actually conservative and says so, and PBS actually displays ordinary sense of a common and settled variety. Two sharp reversals right there. Their discussion was Trump. And both discussions were accurate and sensible and reasonable. And they blew my mind. Once I turned on the sound.

Trump's at his Cincinnati rally today discussed Hillary's email problem at length in his way. He's reading from notes about the lying untrustworthy media and points to them covering his rally, how they distorting his story about their antisemitic star, the rigged system, Bernie Sanders voters defecting, lying media distorting his #s about his rally attendance, phony employment numbers, then abandons notes and speaks extemporaneously about being right about Brexit, about his trip there and about how the media lies about him playing golf, about media misrepresenting his remarks about Saddam Hussein being good at killing terrorists, about the rigged system, about Hillary bribing Lynch.

Then CNN panel describes Trump as stream of unconsciousness, blathering, completely without any structure, and absent any meaningful adult policy. And they defend, that is what Trump rally is, so it's fair to describe it that way.

Problem is, we saw the rally too and the interpreter inserted between the subject and us is not needed. You suck as translator. Characterization rejected, Dummkopf, boink F for you. And it's not just me, everybody has their own relationship with all this and thinks something similar.

Even Denver politicians see Hillary is not viable and the parties do not represent them. But they're turning their attention away from Hillary and to Independent 3rd party, sensibly, not now, rather, in preparation for next cycle. That was the Westword lady and somebody else, the point/counterpoint thing that they do.

All this within the span of a half hour viewing. .

No, dear, you alone in your little LaLa world thought it.

The rest of us knew better. She said she'd fight it and they would have through the whole campaign, but you, if reality doesn't fit your expectations, don't want to modify your expectations, you try to modify reality.

But keep yammering. It just makes you look more foolish.

And Reagan was 30 points behind Bucketmouth back in '80.

And he won. So did Trump.
