"Ginsburg worries 'everything' will be up for grabs if Trump wins"

Washington Examiner:  "I don't want to think about that possibility, but if it should be, then everything is up for grabs," [Supreme Court Justice] Ginsburg said of the presumptive Republican nominee succeeding in his bid for the White House in an interview published Friday by The Associated Press.
The 83-year-old justice, who belongs to the court's liberal wing, said it's "likely that the next president, whoever she will be, will have a few appointments to make." Ginsburg is the oldest of the eight justices currently on the bench, while two of her colleagues – Anthony Kennedy and Stephen Breyer – are closing in on 80.
I thought it was considered improper for justices to publicly go on the record with their political opinions. Specially so close to a presidential election. What's next? A rally appearance with Hillary?

Yes they will.

She might regret waiting for a President Hillary to retire.

Music to my ears. And that list also includes Scalia's replacement.

Maybe she's seen Trump's new slogan, MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN.

You thought that Supreme Court justices were above commenting on the politics of the moment?
(I know. It's rhetorical.)
If we have learned anything this week - or relearned it for the thousandth time - it's that to the extent that there are rules the rules do not apply to progressives.
This priggish old fraud wants to retire. Obviously. Her chair on the Supreme Court will be up for grabs. She doesn't want Trump replacing her with some hideous conservative. Believe that there will be a hue and cry throughout the media if she drops dead in the middle of a Trump Administration and he tries to replace her with a right winger. Meanwhile naught but praise for Mediocre Merrick Garland, Hero of the State Bureaucracy. Crickets on the topic of replacing conservative with conservative. Should replace her with Cruz just for the sound of wailing in the streets that will be sure to follow.

"I thought it was inappropriate....,"

She's a commie. The rules don't apply.

The brilliant Amartel beat me to the punch....or did he steal my thought?! The plot thickens.
