My hang gliding club goes flying at Big Sur every year in September. We take over a campground in the woods, drink, talk, party and barbecue at night, then get up in the morning, 4-wheel it up the mountains and jump off the top. We fly down toward the sea with incredible views the whole way, then soar out over the ocean and circle back to land right on top of the cliffs above the beach. An incredible place with unmatched and virtually unspoiled beauty. One of my favorite places to fly.

Didn't know you were a hang glider. My uncle in Vermont has some hunting land w/ a perfect hang gliding spot. He let a club build a platform. It's amazing to watch.
