The Empire Strikes Back.....Jeb takes his ball and goes home.

Jeb Bush has announced what he will do this election in his typical low energy way in a post on facebook:
Jeb Bush1 hr
I congratulate Donald Trump on securing his place as the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee. There is no doubt that he successfully tapped into the deep sense of anger and frustration so many Americans around the country rightfully feel today.
The tremendous anger of the current U.S. electorate – whether Republican, Democrat or independent – is a result of people fearful about the future, concerned with the direction of our country and tremendously frustrated by the abject failure and inability of leaders in Washington, D.C. to make anything better.
American voters have made it clear that Washington is broken, but I’m not optimistic that either of the leading candidates for President will put us on a better course.
The American Presidency is an office that goes beyond just politics. It requires of its occupant great fortitude and humility and the temperament and strong character to deal with the unexpected challenges that will inevitably impact our nation in the next four years.
Donald Trump has not demonstrated that temperament or strength of character. He has not displayed a respect for the Constitution. And, he is not a consistent conservative. These are all reasons why I cannot support his candidacy.
Hillary Clinton has proven to be an untrustworthy liberal politician who, if elected, would present a third term of the disastrous foreign and economic policy agenda of Barack Obama.
In November, I will not vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, but I will support principled conservatives at the state and federal levels, just as I have done my entire life. For Republicans, there is no greater priority than ensuring we keep control of both chambers of Congress. I look forward to working hard for great conservatives in the Senate and House in the coming months.

The refusal to support Trump is in effect a vote for Hillary. This clown would rather have Hillary appoint 3 more Ginsberg's on the SCOTUS then support the Republican votes choice for President.

I'd be upset at such treachery if it really mattered. Jeb! couldn't even stay in the race till Florida - his home state. He is a zero politically, and having his endorsement would hurt Trump - not help him.

The best thing that could happen is that Lindsey, McCrazy, Jeb, Romney, and all the other losers went and started their own party. Which would fail competely.

I just don't think that these cuckservatives realize that people wear their disdain as a badge of honor. In fact it is much better than having to accept their homage and advice. The money guys like Adelson and Ricketts are already on board. Bush and McCain and Little Lindsey are irrelevant.

He's going to write-in himself. So what?

Remember, he's the smart Bush!

Bet he's vote for a guy who said,
"I had to abandon free market principles in order to save the free market system."

and who was pretty consistent at his inconsistencies.

Jeb! doesn't have to answer to the money men.

He has to answer to Mommy and Daddy. I remember the "How dast she!" tone in Barbara's voice when somebody asked her something about Sarah Palin's political prospects, especially POTUS.

Shoulda quit while you still had a head, sweets.

Fuck the whole lot of them. Make them a historical footnote. I'm so sick of these people being resurrected into the political dome. They don't deserve shit.

Talk about a sore loser, emphasis on loser.

I think that he was raised to believe that he could grab the ring in his mother's lifetime. Now he must wait another four years.

Peter Fitzgerald was a Republican Senator from Illinois,he defeated Carol Mosely Braun. He was against the corruption of both parties, consequently he could not get the Republican party endorsement and dropped out his race for re-election. His successor? Barack Obama. So much for party politics when your Rice Taco bowl is upset.

Didn't bother. You know, for people who complain about labor unions this party sure does behave as one. Very bossy. Every inch entitled. I'm having difficulty fining a good analogy. We already have one House of Lords we really don't need the entire conservative party observably behaving as such. Lording over their party members and becoming mad as hell when their bogus representation is rejected. The things I'm reading are amazing. Kristal (republican magazine guy NRO or something) meets with Romney about forming a 3rd party. I don' t give a flying f about Paul Ryan says about his inability to commit, yet I see Ryan's face half a dozen times an hour. I've had to unfollow a dozen people online because they've decided to turn their account to 100% vituperation agains everyone who is not party loyal. There's hardly anyone left. And the ones left are quite cross and constantly dragging out nit-picky things and flouncing. And this whole time I was imagining that everyone would enjoy observing a non-representing party crackup right before their eyes as much as I do. But I was wrong. Instead everyone became cranked out of shape.

OT The clouds are putting on a grand show. Big ones moving all over the place. All day. It got so bright the infra red signal cannot work so it shut down for awhile. It's clicking away now. And I need the camera because I made curry chicken thighs and potato and man did they come out good. This encourages me to buy a bottle of prepared curry. They do better at mixing than I do myself. You would not like them, I would not serve them, too overcooked, but that's how I like it, falling apart.

Chip, this has nothing to do with Conservatives

This is the Rockefeller wing.

As opposed to Rockefeller thighs.

Yeah, I know, I really need to get off that kick, but I recently saw a show about what really happened in Guinea, which, as it turns out, only stays in a Guinea until it passes, but also, my F-i-L, late of Patton's 3rd army, had a picture of himself and Nelson, back when the F-i-L was involved in republican politics in da Bronx.

I will soon get over it. But it is interesting, at least to me, how that part of the party overran the AuH2O portion - all because Cruz's daddy's friend LEARNED HOW TO SHOOT IN OUR BELOVED CORPS!

As you were...
