This is why you gotta love Trump!

The Donald made a big foreign policy speech today. He was great. He told you that we have to put America first.

Some quotes:
It’s time to shake the rust off America’s foreign policy.  It’s time to invite new voices and new visions into the fold, something we have to do.”
“We have made the Middle East more unstable and chaotic than ever before,” Trump said. “Our actions in Iraq, Libya and Syria have helped unleash ISIS. And we’re in a war against radical Islam, but President Obama won’t even name the enemy! We’ve let our rivals and challengers think they can get away with anything,” he added. “If President Obama’s goal had been to weaken America, he could not have done a better job. The nation-state remains the true foundation for happiness and harmony. I am skeptical of international unions that tie us up and bring America down… Under my administration, we will never enter America into any agreement that reduces our ability to control our own affairs."

But best of all is what he said about Hillary: "After Secretary Clinton’s failed intervention in Libya, Islamic terrorists in Benghazi took down our consulate and killed our ambassador and three brave Americans. Then, instead of taking charge that night, Hillary Clinton decided to go home and sleep! Incredible. Clinton blames it all on a video, an excuse that was a total lie. Our Ambassador was murdered and our Secretary of State misled the nation – and by the way, she was not awake to take that call at 3 o’clock in the morning."
He is going to slam her as weak and old and sick. Of course the media is going to say it is a lie. And every press conference and event and speech that she cancels will feed into the narrative. She is sick and that needs to be pushed. You don't need to play by the Marquis of Queensbury Rules. Point out when the media is covering for her. He is going to slaughter that old bag.
All in all it was a great speech.
Meanwhile Ted is playing hard. He is taking it hard to the ring. He doesn't know from hoops.
But then they play hockey in Canada.

I'm seeing a couple of my liberal friends who love Bernie now seriously considering Trump. They've got Hillary figured out and want no part of her.

I think we're on a roll. It's a good speech and I think we'll see more of the same.

And thank you, Donald, for nailing her on Benghazi.

PS Fiorina? Really? The best he could do?

PPS I have a feeling the next poll out of IN is not going to be good news for the NeverVoters. Cruz is sounding like Lurch.

And that really surprises me.

Lil Teddy has a new campaign slogan "Vote for the Nut and the Slut".

Okay, I don't know whether or not she is a slut, I just liked the rhyme.

And she is a politician, so all we are doing is negotiating the price, right?

Gotta love this:

We desire to live peacefully and in friendship with Russia and China. We have serious differences with these two nations, and must regard them with open eyes, but we are not bound to be adversaries. We should seek common ground based on shared interests.

Common sense says this cycle, this horrible cycle of hostility must end and ideally will end soon. Good for both countries. Some say the Russians won’t be reasonable. I intend to find out.

If we can’t make a deal under my administration, a deal that’s great — not good, great — for America, but also good for Russia, then we will quickly walk from the table. It’s as simple as that. We’re going to find out.

I can just hear National Review and Glenn Beck:

"America First"?! That's not conservatism!

Man when he starts putting that old and tired tag on her she won't be able to shake it. The GOPe and the cuckservatives are too gentlemanly to do that kind of stuff but Trump is going to stick it to that old bag. Every time she cancels something he is going to beat that drum.

He is going to campaign with the Benghazi families and the families of people who were killed by illegal immigrants and go and hug a bunch of moolies and promise them jobs. Wait and see.

It is going to be yuge I tell ya YUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Trump makes the election about Patriotism, he'll win in a landslide. Let Hillary go hug the illegals and the Syrian "refugees". Let Hillary talk about how we have to hate Russia, and let China steal our jobs, because blah, blah, blah.

There are those who contend the half mil was the price of her silence regarding the veracity of the Enquirer story linking her campaign manager and Li;l Teddy.

Until I see some substantiation, color me skeptical.

To a degree.

PS Someone somewhere made this pungent observation

In choosing Fiorina, Cruz throws away a key argument that should be usable against Trump — that a career in business is inadequate preparation for the presidency.

Meantime Ted is going to take it hard to the ring.

No wonder his wife is so depressed. He can't even identify a hole.

One thing I'll bet nobody considered at Casa Cruz - renewed interest in all those rumors.

Witness what Drudge resuscitated about the half mil.

I'm seeing brittle personalities snap all over the place. Presently they cannot even listen to a well-thought and well-delivered speech, aimed at the world, not them.

I heard Trump using teleprompter to be careful today in speaking to the world. Letting the world know with him as president it will be America and the concern for its allies first and everything else devolve from that. Exactly the way every other nation on earth must conduct its business for it to make sense to all other nations.

Do you know of a nation that doesn't?

Do you know of a nation that didn't do that?

His speech was simple as can be. Simple as A, B, C, and yet very confused people manage to find confusion within it. It is a coherent straightforward logical and proper speech. The best to date, actually. He's getting better at this.

Sat down with some Dem friends this evening. Now, these folks are as hard core Dem as you'll find anywhere. The guy's uncle was a state representative for years. Their kids are born with donkey birth marks on their ass cheeks or else they stone the mother for adultery.

They are all in for Trump. It's one strange year.
