"Hillary Clinton '100 percent confident' FBI won't find wrongdoing"

The Hill: Speaking at Thursday night’s Democratic primary debate, Clinton blamed Republicans for seeking to gin up controversy, likening the email controversy to the GOP’s investigation around her response to the 2012 terror attack in Benghazi, Libya.
Clinton pointed to a revelation today that former Secretary of State Colin Powell and aides to former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice also used personal email accounts.
The FBI is investigating Clinton’s unconventional email server and use of a personal email account, and some Republicans are speculating it will lead to an indictment.
Clinton said there’s no chance of that happening.
“I am 100 percent confident, this is a security review requested and carried out that will be resolved,” she said. “But I have to add, if there’s a security review about me, there will have to be security reviews for a lot of other people including Republican officeholders because we have this absurd situation of retroactive classifications, honest to goodness, this just beggars the imagination."
Instapundit analysis: The Fix Is In.  Meanwhile, the Hillary campaign seemed to walk back a promise to release transcripts of Hillary's lucrative Goldman Sachs speeches.  From the New York Times...
In response to a question at Thursday night’s debate, Hillary Clinton said she would “look into” the possibility of releasing transcripts of her paid remarks to banking, corporate and financial services companies like Goldman Sachs.
But by Friday morning, it did not appear that much looking was underway.
Joel Benenson, Mrs. Clinton’s pollster, gave little indication at a Wall Street Journal breakfast with reporters that the transcripts would be forthcoming.
“I don’t think voters are interested in the transcripts of her speeches,” he said.
If the speeches contain little to no substance, justifying the hefty sums Goldman Sachs paid for them, the campaigns worries the transcripts could show the speeches to be nothing more than an end run around political contribution limits. At a time when Bernie Sanders has chosen to make Hillarys Wall Street connections his main go-to reason as to why democrat voters should reject her and give him the party's nomination for president. There is little to no chance Hillary is about to release them.

They'll find wrongdoing, but nothing will happen to her. Obama can't let that happen, because he's part of the problem.

Good (meaning depressing) links, April. Hillary doesn't want grandma to have a small pistol to protect herself but will sell high powered weaponry to foreign countries to enrich herself.

Hillary is a soul-sucking human being. The idea that anyone would want to hand her the reigns of power is equally depressing.

We need some cuteness.

The story on Thursday about Powell and Rice emails was a classic Clinton planted story. The usual suspects in the MSM dutifully carried it. But, it was a one day story w/o legs. Then, today, scuttlebut that Uncle Joe might enter the race. I smell an indictment. I admit there is some wishful thinking in that.

I don't see how the eventual Republican nominee can help but make this a winning issue. You don't have to go after her on much else. You already have everyone that's against her on ideology. You can just hammer this stuff to peel away lots of them who still agree with her, but can't vote for someone so dishonest, dangerous, and untrustworthy on national security. Democrats may believe things that are harmful to national security, but they are not mostly unpatriotic. They want us all safe too, even if they are often stupid about how to get there. Keeping Hillary out is a no brainer on the subject.

I've been thinking the same for about a month now. This scandal is simple; Hillary wanted to hide everything she did from US citizens. From that simple starting point, it only gets worse. The "Colin and Condi did it too" excuse may be good for a weekend, but the simple answer is to prosecute them as well.
