As someone astute at another place noted, "I can't remember the last time I said that to someone." I couldn't remember the last time I did so either, and had to guess that adolescence was probably the last time that form of contempt was levelled at a lesser personage in the form of my younger brother.
The word "snaps" brings a smile as it goes well with the barking dog imagery.
Willie never did like having anybody answer him with the truth.
Remember those town halls on race they were going to hold when he played at running the country? They stopped after the first one when black people wouldn't let him answer his own questions.

Because I can't recall too many pictures of them together before or after that.
I heard that Trump's only running because Hillary turned down his suggestion of a humidor service back in the day. Trump offered her 10% of the profit from selling the specially seasoned cigars in Piggly Wiggly stores nationwide. He estimated that they could produce 5000 cigars per day if she worked hard, and kept her nose clean, so to speak.
