"Driver Shouting 'Allahu Akbar!' Runs Down 11 French Pedestrians"

NBC News: A driver screaming "Allahu Akbar!" (Arabic for "God is great") appeared to deliberately mow down about a dozen pedestrians in the French city of Dijon before being arrested on Sunday, officials said.

The driver, who was in his forties, hit groups of pedestrians in five parts of the eastern city before being arrested, a spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior said on French television. Eleven people in all were injured, two of them seriously, officials said.

According to testimonies on the scene, the driver also invoked "the children of Palestine"' to explain his actions, the ministry's spokesman said.

Have they figured out a motive for this yet? Sounds like another Lutheran eating too much lutefisk.

Is it going to be considered workplace violence or maybe he was just looking for the Aloha Snackbar and people heard him wrong and he got upset.

Sounds like the Frawgs ought to start doing what the Limeys did in the Sepoy Mutiny.

The car mow down in Las Vegas this week was 1 killed & 37 injured. That wasn't terrorism. It wasn't gun violence. It wasn't bullying. It wasn't teen angst. It wasn't a white racist. It was just some crazy Lakeisha who had pulled herself out of an early life of parental neglect and alcoholism, got a scholarship, had a 3.8 GPA, and then apparently had a short circuit.

There is no solution to most of this stuff. I will not stress out about it. The fact that it has easy and daily entry to my brain via relentless obsessing media will get me to discuss it, but it will not influence my decision making. These things have always happened, and what about the killer asteroids? I think they hate us too.

One of my friend's last words before he died spoken to another friend were, "The tuna that comes in the packages is better than tuna in tins."

I thought of him today because that stuff is on sale for $1.00 a package and now it comes prepared in different flavors.

Along the way I spoke directly with some six black women separately here and there in the place actually quite crowded, except for two of them together.

We should go shopping so you can see this unfold but that wouldn't work because the presence of the experimenter wrecks the experiment, you being there would change dynamics completely. So you'd have to observe from afar. And me knowing you're observing would also wreck the experiment. see? Comprende le vous? This social experimentation is not so simple as it seems.

It's natural. Because there they are at the greens. They always buy greens. Sometimes their baskets are FULL of greens. So I go, "What are you going to do with those?" and put on my boy open to wonder face, and even though I already know what they're going to do with them. "Ever cook the red ones?"

"No."

Always no. This is a curiosity. "I like 'em 'cause they're pretty." And leave it at that, but there you go, that's how these little errands always turn out so fun.

This is what, the 23rd? Night time. Maybe I'll show you how to make a card. Not you, your kids. I sense you're a bit hopeless and perhaps pressed for time and not in the mood for crafts, maybe your grandkids. I'll have a chat with your grandkids and show them how to make pop-up card that they will give you for Christmas that can be set flat for table centerpiece and you will treasure for the rest of your days, ephemera that you will not be able to rid yourself much like herpes. This is the magic I know how to do. Not the cards, what happens after. I didn't expect any such thing, I'm not smart enough, but it turns out tried, true and tested. People cannot throw these things away, and even intentionally left blank for repurposing, they never are repurposed, instead they are saved. People with multiples display a collection. It is exceedingly cheesy irresistibly adorable art and quite stupid besides and THAT is why people love them. I guess. I'm convinced now to do it. I must settle on an approach. You grandparents can enjoy seeing the kids get up to demonstrating what post-modern art pop-up Christmas card making is like, a subject you know top to bottom, through and through, backward and forward, a tale told many ways in all languages through many materials, and now shown again all together at once combined in a dazzlingly daft presentation conveying complete understanding of subject to internalization. And silly.

Lulz bags. Now you've reduced the problem to just being a "Crazy Lakeisha". I'd hate to see what a "Nutty Shawanda" looks like.

Isn't there a whole series on people last words. Some are apropos and others are just outright ridiculous. I'd like my last words to be "I love you all. See you on the other side."
