Whose that girl?

She is a nurse that they would never turn out of her flat to give it to a dirty Muslim refugee. Plus they wouldn't want to live there since they would have to bathe in a water tank.

Wait a minute. What am I talking about? They don't bathe.

Oh well.....whose that girl?

That's Nurse Good Body: Gunilla Hutton

Before Hee Haw, she played Billie Jo in Petticoat Junction -- the original story about Hooterville.

The shows Petticoat Junction and Green Acres used to trade cast and characters. That was Paul Henning's genius. Of course later shows like All In The Family spawned lots of spinoffs and so did The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

Troop posted a video a couple weeks ago with Rawhide's Clint Eastwood doing a cameo as himself on Mr Ed.

In a sense, Lem's Levity is a spinoff of the Althouse blogshow. Plenty of cast and character mixing and matching.

My dad loved "Hee Haw" and we watched every season. I loved it too because I was going through puberty at the time.

I mentioned watching that Keith Richards biopic last night. In it, Keith mentions how some of the big country stars in the early 60's were raging drinkers and an hotel trashers -- something which stuck to rock and rollers as a trait. He mentions a story about checking into a hotel after Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins had painted an entire room orange.
"The rockers had nothing on those guys" Richards says.
