When Donald Trump said something not exuberantly enthusiastic about Mexican immigrants, the media's response was to boycott him. One thing they didn't do was produce any facts showing he was wrong.Meanwhile a Cable television station has picked up Miss America pageant. NBC had dumped Miss America over the Donald's remarks about Mexican raping immigrants. Donald must have miss the memo saying the rapists are on college campus ;-)
Trump said: "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems to us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."
The first thing a fact-checker would have noticed is: THE GOVERNMENT WON'T TELL US HOW MANY IMMIGRANTS ARE COMMITTING CRIMES IN AMERICA.
Wouldn't that make any person of average intelligence suspicious? Not our media. They're in on the cover-up. (read more)

Ann has committed the unpardonable sin of confusing people with the facts...in a way Trump is smarter in that he doesn't get bogged down in quibbling about the details (true tho they may be--those uncomfortable truths that dare not be named at all the "right" PC cocktail parties) but just general critiques that already resonate with a public sick of the PC treatment of illegal imigration while at the same time giving his opponents no statistics with which to nitpick because he really doesn't need to, as the avg NOT LIV citizen already knows they're true--they've just been waiting for a Champion with the courage and hide thick enough to lead the charge..
PS: And the necessary money bags to carry the fight..

Hello? What Trump says is the truth. The middle and upper class Mexicans stay in Mexico. Life is good there, Mexico is a wonderful country if you live in the right place, have enough money, and have connections.
We get the people who can't make it in Mexico. Of course that is a generalization. But I see no reason why the USA should be the world's safety value & dumping ground.
But what the hey, this country's just about money anyway. If it goes belly up we can all go back to the old country.

I read somewhere that 65% of Mexicans say they would migrate Norte if they could. Even if you're middle class, you still live in a country where headless bodies turn up in the shopping mall and serial killers rack up a body count in the hundreds. One of the problems with Mexico is that you can attract more condemnation for criticizing rapists in too blunt a manner than for actually being a rapist.......I'm no fan of Donald Trump, but you wouldn't have to search far to find Mexican moguls infinitely more corrupt and vain than he. I don't expect the NY Times to run a series of hard hitting. Articles on the evil ways of Carlos Slim anytime soon.
