"You are not important enough for me"

From the video description....
In an unmarked car, the policeman was allegedly attempting to park without using his blinker at a green light. (His reverse lights weren't on. Likely double parked without hazards on.) The Uber driver pulled around and gestured that he should use his blinker, casually and non-offensively, and kept driving us. The policeman quickly pulls up behind us and this is what happens.

I often see cops in regular cop cars pull illegal traffic moves.
I suspect only a small fraction of those moves are on behalf of actual crime.

This is why I am all for filming those who are charged to serve and protect. This cop thinks he has been hired to hassle and abuse.

In other Uber news:

I'm new to this Uber concept. I guess anyone can sign up to be an Uber driver, to make extra cash as a make-shift do it yourself taxi service. It's a cool concept. Except when it's not.

Like yesterday when I heard on the local news that an uber driver picked up a women and drove her to the airport. Not long after, he attempted to rob her house. Fortunately, the women did not live alone and had a room-mate who put a stop to the break-in and now the guy is in custody. No one was robbed or hurt.

The media is so pathetic with their nanny state opinions. Do you ever notice how they pour syrup over everything and then remind people to take their vitamin D? We don't have media anymore, it's nanny media.

Well, with this story I laughed at the media's opinionated response. The media actually told its listeners that if you hire uber, best to meet the driver at a location that is not your residence. Really. That was the advice pellet from the media.

Because I really want a ride to the airport with someone who has criminal intent and designs to rob me. (or worse)

geez.

Another reason to film cops is the big "hands up don't shoot" lie.
Some footage of the Michael Brown shooting would have come in handy to protect the innocent cop from MSNBC's lies.

Last night's rerun of Mad Men was "The Strategy." That's the one with a lot of office politics and scrambling for clients, as opposed to all those other episodes where there's not a lot of office politics and scrambling for clients.

Lou is fairly tolerable. (Sorry, Lou, but you're still a jerk.) Pete finally gets to see his young daughter and then ends up vandalizing her birthday cake. (Sorry, Pete, but Trudi is far too adorably cute for me to take your side against her.) Joan gets a marriage proposal from a gay guy. (Sorry, gay guy, but I find your soft effeminacy to be off-putting, but I did kind of dig that sportcoat and necktie combination you put together, truth be told.)

Don and Peggy reconnect. That was nice. Don and Peggy and Pete reconnect. That was nice, too.

Hey! Anybody remember Burger Chef? I know I do, but just barely.

Uber driver training... if there is any at all.

What not to do should an unhinged cop engages you.

Licensed or unlicensed Uber drivers?

I hate to say it, but all cops are licensed in their capacity of law enforcement officers, but that hasn't stopped some of them from acting like criminals.

It's kind of funny how the driver keep doing what enraged the cop even more.

Both men wires were completely crossed.

This guy has no business being a cop, or having any authority over anyone. Someone with his attitude, lack of self-control and perspective should not be allowed to carry a gun, a badge, a driver's license, or raise children. He's a tragedy waiting to happen and a discredit to cops, and if I was one, I'd want him off the force. Hell, I'm even ashamed that we share the same skin color.

Guys like him are doing a lot of damage to our society, and making it very hard to be on the side of law and order. He's a little Saddam.

He looks like the DEA brother-in-law in "Breaking Bad" - although he was a stand up guy.

The complant used to be that all this surveillance technology would hasten the arrival of 1984 (which in any case was over thrifty years ago). But it seems that Big Brother has just as much chance of being spied on as little brother......I've seen some cops subjected to merciless verbal abuse in crowd situations. I haven't seen any viral videos of that abuse......OK, the cop is a jerk and deserves what's coming. But whenever some member of the Ferguson or OWS crowd goes off, their inspiritional words are not played over and over again in an endless loop.
