Bush: Barack Obama is being naïve about Iran and the pending nuclear deal

Does Obama govern like the mayor of Baltimore?
The former president, who rarely ever criticizes Obama in public, at first remarked that the idea of re-entering the political arena was something he didn’t want to do. He then proceeded to explain why Obama, in his view, was placing the U.S. in "retreat" around the world. He also said Obama was misreading Iran’s intentions while relaxing sanctions on Tehran too easily.

According to the attendee's transcription, Bush noted that Iran has a new president, Hassan Rouhani. “He's smooth," Bush said. "And you’ve got to ask yourself, is there a new policy or did they just change the spokesman?”

Bush said that Obama’s plan to lift sanctions on Iran with a promise that they could snap back in place at any time was not plausible. He also said the deal would be bad for American national security in the long term: “You think the Middle East is chaotic now? Imagine what it looks like for our grandchildren. That’s how Americans should view the deal.”

America for Global Policeman! Elections soon!

Just hope that if the deal doesn't go through, the status quo of letting them continue to get away with enriching at a rate 25 times greater than they otherwise would goes pretty well.

That's how American should view everything, not just this deal.

The last time I spoke with Paul about anything serious, not a serious person, he of Democrat-feretory pride, he summed up his immovable position in terms so trite so common so girlish that I understood there will never be anything near to geopolitical grasp nor his own country's position nor how it happens we end up here and why and most importantly of all what happens when we withdraw. "I'm tired of America being the world's policeman." He said. A worn and ragged phrase he imagined uniquely clever, one that summarized his entire party, one that puts all his enemies comfortably to his immediate right. There is no point in discussing the matter anymore. Or any serious matter, not with Paul. Too bad. He was a good friend. We had great times together for decades but that was then and this is now and now his loyalty is attached fiercely to a corrupted Party that will merrily lead our country to its destruction as long as they get what they want. Just ignore them, I suppose, is the only thing left to do. It's a shame. A real shame. Talking is useless. Just have the pendulum swing either now with full force over wrecked and utterly corrupted Party and smash their fucking heads in destroying their hopes and whatever twisted dreams they entertain without any further discussion, just piss on you and your stupid fucking opinions, or later as may be the case, and then with even greater fuller force with even more fuller and more complete destruction.

But you know what? It will never die. The Party will never die. The Republican Party can die and if not die change dramatically, it can go away or it can become something else, but the Democrat party cannot for what it has become -- catch basin for all damaged personalities. All damaged persons need a party, and Man, are there ever a lot of them. That's why the Democrat Party's future is solidly fixed there will always be a need for it, a GREAT BIG NEED for a GIGANTIC catch basin for damaged people. Doubt me? Check out their next convention, even as coronation, and STFU.

But shame on Bush for speaking out, he needn't do it. Everybody already knows the president is a total dipshit and dangerous arrogant one at that.

He and his silly-ass ilk with the geopolitical grasp of gnats imagine the US can withdraw from wearisome activities beyond their own command economy abilities, beyond their near total domestic focus, whose chief interest is developing a new electorate, one more easily controlled, one that is more malleable, one not so goddamn CIVIC-minded. So they can grow. And all that foreign bullshit interferes with Party objectives. Best having Iran counterbalance that part of the world and not the US. He and his Democrat Party are united (Paul only uses trite political phrases contrived by others smarter more fierce than himself) in being totally over it. Secure in their own hard-won freedoms and their own successful political system they are united in being totally over having any responsibility whatsoever for protecting it far less helping secure similar systems to enable that liberty and freedom worldwide.

And that's why we can never have a war. Never ever ever ever never never ever. Why? Because Democrats.

If a Republican starts a war for whatever reason Democrats will first agree then betray the effort.

If a Democrat starts a war it is not win it. It is to match it with equal force and only when necessary, so it's designed to drag on forever from the start, then the effort is betrayed and abandoned.

Checkmate. No more wars. Democrats win.

The political schizophrenia hard-wired renders the US perfectly unacceptable as ally. Any nation on Earth is fool to have us as ally we simply cannot be trusted due to our debilitating national schizophrenia that is our political character. Face it, we are fucked up.

Listen to the man.

No, not Ritmo, of course. The reality that, if you want stability in the world, somebody has to lay down the law, is something the Lefties don't want because they think chaos will bring them power.

Too bad for them the Moslems feel likewise.

PS Excellent analysis, Chip, but sooner or later, the war will come here (it has already if we're honest) and surrender will not be an option, especially for the Demos and then it will be WWII all over again.

Or so they hope.

Obama does not govern, the farsi ferret does. Everything is fine and dandy as far as she is concerned.
