"Woman banned from bingo asks New Mexico to help"

AP: A 70-year-old New Mexico woman banned from a bingo hall is fighting to get back in the game.

"She says management banished her after telling her they had received letters from people accusing her of driving erratically in the parking lot. Shelland denies the accusation. The club declined to comment."

This reminds me of Mark Wahlberg's recent request that the State of Massachusetts expunge his record of a previous assault conviction - which is speculated to be prompted by the State of California's requirement that whoever owns a liquor license for his cheesy chain of hamburger joints have a record free of such charges.

She also posts at John Turley's blog - a lot.

Don't stand between a 70 year old woman and her bingo. Just don't.

(She was probably reaching in the back for her bag of blotters)
