China's First Lady Refuses Putin's Blanket

What was that about?

Would Michelle Obama handled that differently?

Well, her objection couldn't have been that it wasn't made in China.

Did the Chinese first lady reject Putin's sexist paternalistic gesture.

Who knew, the sisterhood has pierced the politburo.

I dunno, it looked to me as if she was very gracious, but preferred a coat over a blanket.

Looks like, "nothing to see here." What am I missing?

You're missing nothing. The Dragon Lady upgraded from Putin's horse blanket to an elegant overcoat. None of that prolewear for Dragon Lady!

"No, seriously, it doesn't have small pox stuff on it."

Ha! The old switcheroo.

The coat has the camera with GPS.

I'm w/ the Padre on this, she went w/ the coat available instead of the blanket.

Too many Red Wedding parallels even for China's first lady.

So what was it, the first lady over there is not in control of the thermostat?

I find that hard to believe.

I don't think Pooty poot would have put a blanket on Michelle. I think he would have gone straight fot the saddle.

Michelle probably wouldn't have been offered a blanket. I think Vlad would prefer to stare at her bare arms if he had the chance.

Semiotics. The First Lady of China accepted the protective cloak of the ruler of Russia, thought about it for a second, and then decided against it.
