I'm reading a book, First Family Detail by Ron Kessler. Some snippets.
Joe Biden is reckless w/ the nuclear football. He also uses Air Force 2 as a taxi between DC and Delaware, costing tax payers millions. He'll often go back and forth twice a day!
Al Gore is a pompous fat pig who farts like a cow.
The Obamas are respectful to the agents. The kids are great and they have no complaints, as far as I've read.
Bush 41 and Barbara were the best couple. Both were highly respectful and just down to earth.
Reagan was a great guy. No phony interactions but just a man's man. Would adjust his Christmas vacations so agents could be home in DC w/ their families. Would give money to people w/o ever any attention brought to him. Nancy was a cunt.
Hillary is the worst. She is mean to agents, hates them and the military. That is transferred to her staff who act the same. It is considered punishment to be on her detail.
Bubba is an aloof horn dog and like the Arkansas State Troopers, the SS have to keep his bimbos and Hillary separate.
Carter was maybe the biggest asshole. He did not want agents to ever address him. That big smile was NEVER present when the cameras were off. He was arrogant and phony. He made a big deal about carrying his own bags. They were empty, w/ agents carrying the full bags. Rosalyn was great and could put Jimmy in his place. All the kids were out of control. Amy was a little brat and the boys would cruise DC getting girls back to the WH to do coke and fuck.
"I'm coming out with a book filled with all of my gaffes! ... will you buy a copy? Secret Service has a trunk full out back. The book is called "The Daily Gaffe with Joe Biden" published by Simon and Schuster. Oddly, the mainstream press isn't helping me with any book promotion."
Actually, she's a lady. A category almost extinct and its passing unlamented by the au courant. The issue is not whether Nancy Reagan is likable or not, the issue is whether she has class: she does.
ricpic, Read the accounts of how Nancy was such a control freak. Read how the very mild mannered Ron would get so pissed 3 her he broke a telephone when she wouldn't get off it. Read of how classless she was w/ the agents and her kids. Then we'll discuss. This book is well sourced.
