The modern American woman is barraged from all sides by what folks who are trying to influence her tell her are the norms she should conform to. One of these norms is body size & shape. What women "like" is more socially shaped in co-ordination with the community of women & the men in their lives.
Men, on the hand, are in their very natures possessed of a very private & personal fetishistic sexuality (in the psychological sense). For reasons unknown even to them, they like what they like, and they like it intensely. A man's fetish is the key to getting money out of his wallet just like preserving her social image is the key to getting money from a woman's purse.
